I really really love this drama. I’m enjoying each and every episode, i love all the characters and the side stories.
But… maybe now it’s getting a bit too slow. We are at ep 8 and we still don’t know anything about DS trauma and feelings. The only new thing they added is the love triangle thing.
And I’m a bit confused about DS feelings for HJ. I thought he already liked her (but he was just scared because of his mysterious trauma), but now it looks like he just started liking her.
Anyway I hope it doesn’t take too long before they realize their feelings for each other

Where Na Bi pauses and partly lets go of Jae Eon's hand when she sees Do Hyuk in the cafe? Is there something…
I think Nabi is an insecure person and when she saw DH she instinctively left JE hand because she is still a bit affected by other people opinions. She is trying to change but she is still Nabi and it’s not possible to change overnight. I don’t think there is an open ending. It just shows her humanity

People saying why are you hating the drama ? Why you hate with ending ....Honey if you dont see wrong with drama…
If people that liked this drama is problematic then the whole world that rooted for and loved Chuck and Blair of GG is toxic and problematic since they are the most toxic couple in tv series but still the most loved one. You know what? Some people just watch tv series to spend time and enjoy analyzing the plot and the characters. Maybe for your perfect life is just right watching perfect couples and perfect plots but you cannot judge people for their taste because you don’t know with what kind of mindset they watch tvseries

Thats exactly the problem with this drama. You were able to provide so many good things about the PJE, yet only…
I don’t know if they wrote her character like this on purpose, to make it look more realistic, or if it was just poor writing. Anyway people are disappointed on the ending because of the toxic relationship and red flag thing. I actually don’t think this was the problem, I don’t see him as a bad person. Every relationship is different and has its difficulties, I see just two young people that made a lot of mistakes trying to build something together, maybe they will fail but it’s okay.
I think this was the most realistic ending possible.
They could have made Nabi grow up even with that kind of final. But they did nothing for her. She has always been carried away by events. She always looks insecure and sad but I never understood why she was sad. They never really told us what kind of problem she had. I don’t really understand her. I understand her choices because in the past I did the same mistakes but who’s Nabi, what she wants, what is her problem, what makes her weak and depressed. I don’t know it. I just know that she loves PJE.

I think Park Jaeon is less bad than how people are describing him. His big problem is miscommunication. He doesn’t know (and doesn’t want) to express his feelings and intentions because he’s scared of love. He has never be loved and doesn’t know how to love, he learnt it through Nabi and made a lot of miscommunication mistakes during the path but he was never a liar or a cheater.
- When that guy came and punched him then the day after when PJE met the guy’s sister she said that his brother misunderstood them.
- And again when he asked to the girl at the bar to go to see the butterflies, he and Nabi were just friends, in fact in the meantime she was considering going out with potato boy.
I think PJE big miscommunication problem came up when he asked Nabi “let’s go to see butterflies” with a disperate face the night when they met outside the bar. It sounded so out of context, so stupid, that made me think “he doesn’t absolutely know what to do and what to say”. I really enjoyed Park Jaeon character. I hated him, i pitied him, I tried to understand him, I wanted to yell at him “speak clearly at least once”. He just was a complicated character.
On the contrary I’m disappointed on Nabi development character. I understood the ending and it was okay for me because it was realistic, but her character didn’t learn nothing. She still doesn’t know what she wants. She just said that she loves working because PJE said to her that she looks happy when she works. But I didn’t see it in the drama. She was always depressed and sad. It looked like her happiness and sadness depended on PJE. For me it’s okay them being together in the end but I hoped to see her a bit stronger and more self-confident and it didn’t happen.

Until the last ep, I really really wanted Nabi to end up with the second male lead. But sometime into the last…
I totally agree with you. I think it’s the first time they give us a “not perfect love” and I appreciate it because it looks more realistic

Actually, you can't blame those people who didn't like Nabi. They grew up in a different environment, and they…
I think it’s the director who is romanticizing Jaeon at all costs and you inevitably feel it. The sadness, he talking to himself, his conversations with his mother and with Kyu Hyun, his presents for Nabi. He who met his ex just to make her company at the hospital and not for other reasons (which make him looks like a good boy). All the unspoken things he has inside but is scared to say because he always prefer drawing a line between him and the world to not get hurt.
Tbh I would have preferred to see a real jerk because the director choice to turn him good is confusing things and now I can’t see any good ending for any of them

yes DH was a bit manipulative in the way that he didn't give nabi much of a choice whether to date him or not,…
Actually he knows nothing about Nabi and Jaeon relationship and he’s getting in the way despite what she said to him that is that she doesn’t reciprocate him and still likes JE. He saw Nabi and Jaeon getting together in her house (and he doesn’t know what they did inside) but still he keeps following her. He looks like Nabi at the start of her relationship with Jaeon but then you (“you” I mean most people not you in particular) called her “dumb” and “obsessed”

I can't agree with you more! For real why did they have to make him fall in love with her.. like that defeats…
FL and ML do you mean Nabi and Jaeon? Really? I’m quite sure she will end up with Dohyuk like in the webtoon. If, like you said, they make the two leads end up together they must give us at least a big character development for both. Anyway I agree with you the best should be her deny both and choose herself and her art. Let’s hope for it to happen

Title Nevertheless, Spoiler
For me the big mistake in this drama is making Park Jaeon falling in love with her. They’re making people empathize with him and I don’t really like this feeling. It would have been better if he was a real jerk like in the webtoon and now I would be satisfied seeing him hurt.
As for now it looks like no one can be happy! PJE actually likes her but he is unable to communicate. Nabi doesn’t like the SL, we all can see and feel it. The SL is as fool as Nabi at the start of her relationship with JE, he saw them together at her house and still keeps calling her. Wtf? Are you dumb?

I hope they won’t give us the typical korean drama ending where she must at all costs choose between one of the two males. And obviously she will pick the good one. It would be so predictable. I hope she will choose herself, hope she will leave and will find her happiness far away from them. And I hope that PJE will learn to love himself first and then to communicate in a right way with people around him

This is such a stupid cmnt. I mean people can say whatever they want in this site. If you can't stand these cmnts…
You clearly didn’t get my comment. There are a lot of people that are judging this drama according on how happy or sad Dohyuk is. Everyone can like whoever he wants, obviously. It’s not about who people prefer. Me, myself I don’t like Jaeon character but I know that his behavior is useful for the plot to progress

I can’t stand anymore people praising Dohyuk. He doesn’t deserve Nabi. Okay. But who cares if he deserves her or not? Who is Dohyuk? No one. This drama is not about the good boy Dohyuk. This drama has a totally different plot so who cares if Dohyuk is sad or not, if he deserves her or not? You are in an absolutely wrong place if you are looking for the lovely-dovey love story. Why are you so surprised when the plot was clear from the start?

I think staying alone won’t be enough. I think she needs someone who teach her what’s wrong and what’s right in life. I’m afraid she will fall again into the same mistakes until the day she really heals from her obsession to have someone at her side at all costs

Actually I think they made him to behave in that way because it suits to a perfect guy’s image to not give up on a girl and to keep trying to court her. I think not so many people understand that this too is a bad behavior. And you know what? I think he’s now even more unrealistic than before. He has an attachment for her that doesn’t make any sense. And him pretending to know what kind of relationship have Nabi and Jaeon and deciding to interfer after just a few hours spent together is absolutely absurd. As you already said a lot of people suffer from this useless second lead syndrome and can’t see all his mistakes.

People going overboard with second lead syndrome and completely disregarding the female lead's feelings and emotions…
He’s so annoying omg! She said she’s not ready to start a new relationship plus she has feelings for another guy. There is nothing worse than being with a guy when you still love your ex. You always think “why isn’t him?” and always make the comparison.
And anyway it’s true JE keeps being a jerk (because he knows how much Nabi likes him so he should go to her if, as he says, he really wants her). But DH is toxic as well. How he dare to lie to JE? How he dare following and put pressure on her despite what she said to him?

That’s a fairly promiscuous innuendo in SK. ( And hence if you have been watching K-dramas from the past few…
Yes yes I understood you were talking about ramyun. I just found curious that Koreans started using the butterflies line now because of the drama and in Italy it has always been a way of saying that men use ironically to invite girls

Actually in Italy it’s a way of saying since like always. Italian men say “Do you want to see my butterflies collection?” to a girl to invite her at his house. I thought it was like this everywhere and I just found out today that just Italian men say it 😱

I am all for character flaw, but she has nothing going on in her character arc. It's like a tug of war between…
I think we will se her downfall and just after that she will realize and grow up. I think they will give us a good end for her. I don’t know how but I’m quite sure it will be good.
As for Jaeon I have my own opinion of him. At the first I really hated his character and I didn’t care about his trauma, it doesn’t justify his bad actions. And actually most of the time guys like him don’t have a reason to be jerks, they are like that just because they are selfish and narcissistic. But I rewatched the drama and I don’t know why I now see him in a different way. He knows what he is doing, it’s true, but just because it’s the only way he knows. Actually in my eyes he looks weak and sad. He seems a good person who just doesn’t know how to love others and himself. He doesn’t care about other people opinions because he always draws a line between him and the world. I see him like an unhappy person and now I just hope they will give us a happy ending for him too. I hope they will make him correct his mistakes and finally try to open to the world.
