I don't really have patience to watch 2 mins dramas, mostly because it's not fun to skip intros and ads every 2 mins, but I'm glad I gave this one a chance, this drama is so funny and the actors are adorable. A Neko Meow Meow Project actually did a great job in creating just one video with all the short ones, you can find it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Igh06RouTrg&list=PLRw84iCHc4IEcSc8RqCvFSJhbgBu5Ebo7&index=5 , for this reason I watched other short dramas they have listed there. Many thanks for doing that.
Revived this almost dead account to post a comment and gush over my new favorite cdrama Cang Lan Jue ❤️This…
Hahaha, I know, I did the same. But damn this drama raised my standards again, now I can't watch anything else, compared to this one, all the others are super boring 😂
It's been ages since an "on going" drama got me hooked, I usually watch those available episodes then come back to it whenever I remember or just completely drop it. I love everything about this drama!!! I highly recommend it, especially to those that have been disappointed (like me) by those "comedies" that have like 3 episodes that have some comedy in them, then for the remaining ones, it's like they completely forget that term ever exited. So far, ep 20 and it still has great humor, nothing overboard - everything is balanced out perfectly :) A small piece of advice: maybe wait until it's completed! it's addictive :)
What I liked: -Great cast- especially the actor playing Song Che is super expressive and did an awesome job -The story was ok and I loved that the FL (in the beginning) acted like any normal person playing a game would -The FL could pass as a boy, unlike other dramas where they get the prettiest girls and even put makeup/lipstick on them but they dress them as boys and suddenly nobody can tell =)))
What I did not like: - The FL's character changed dramatically in the last half, you couldn't tell anymore she was in a game (very disappointed) -In the second half the comedy ratio dramatically dropped, and that's the thing that got me hooked in the first place :( -The romance part could have been much better, it started off kinda promising
But overall I really like these kind of comedies and I did enjoy it, I just wish they could have stick with it till the end.
So, I somehow made it to ep 10 and I really needed to come here for 2 reasons: 1. To read some comments and see if it's worth continuing... (will most likely drop it) and most importantly 2. Check if the writer is a man or a woman (it's the first time I EVER check this)- turns out it's a woman- omg how can a woman create such a bad FL character, I first thought it would be a strong character FL- which I would have really liked, but nooo... it's all over the place (at least those dramas that have those naive and submissive FL (my least favorite) have some consitency and in some cases even a nice character developement). But overall imo, all characters are pretty bad made, at one point I decided I would continue watching it for the second couple, they seemed to have pretty ok characters, but that goes down the hill as well, obviously the female again
And since I'm here, my input on the product placements - I don't mind the amount as much as I dislike the soda/juice one, whatever that is - a man you might like comes and gives you the bottle and says"hey drink this, it won't make you fat"
I haven't finished watching this, I needed a break from it, mostly because of the FL. I'm not sure I've ever seen such a poorly constructed main character topped up with bad acting in a drama that may have potential, I mean the storyline is interesting enough. To be honest I kinda lost interest in the main couple development, found all the other characters more interesting, mostly because of better acting. But now reading all the comments, I might not really want to see the ending anyway...
Even though a lot of people complain about the "low budget", they paid a lot of attention to details and had an awesome cast, FL- brilliant! I've seen quite a few dramas/movies with way higher budget and still they did a crappy job- from choosing the cast all the way to production.
Also, I usually find sponsored advertising in dramas very annoying (like the facial masks ones), but for this drama they actually found a way to include it that honestly didn't bother me at all, on the contrary, it made it even funnier.
This was bad. Not even bad enough to make me laugh at how bad it is, just simply bad and that's the kind I find most annoying. The plot was nothing out of the ordinary, but was something a good director could have worked with...but this one, just did such a poor job. Watching this kind of movies will definitely make you think twice about the possible low ratings you might have given to other movies. There was one thing that I liked though, I'm glad I watched the "making of" scenes at the end, there was this kid actress scene, she was so adorable, awesome acting skills! worth watching only that :)
Omg! Best thing I've seen this year!!! Loved it! Also, I wonder if it's just me that saw a bit of a resemblance between Zhou Shu Yi and Domyoji (Jun Matsumoto/Hana Yori Dango) ?!
Ok, so I would place this somewhere in the middle, I've definitely seen better but also worse ones. One of the things that bugged me, is that there are a lot of unnecessary scenes in the first "season" (I mean 28 episodes/45mins long) still they couldn't bother doing a proper sequel. I don't mind the idea, I mind the way it was made. Buut, there's one thing I really liked and that's the music. I don't think there's ever been a drama/movie to make me rate it much higher based on music, but considering the fact that I probably would have never heard these songs, unless I watched this drama, imo it's definitely worth the credit.
Just watched the first episode and i totally get what youre talking about..... especially when it it comes to…
Well...it does not really get that much better, but I've dropped way better production quality ones, because those were either plain boring or annoyed the hell out of me, and I still watched this one. I don't know, like with every drama/movie for me, it's all about timing, and I guess I just happened to watch this one when the timing was just right and I just needed something light, cute and funny.
Never had such a crush on an airing drama before, I could patiently wait a week or two to find the new episodes. With this one it's crazy!!And WHY are the episodes so short?! :((((
I think this movie was just rushed, focused on incorporating as many scenes as possible without actually focusing on characters/relationships build up. But overall, it is fun to watch for the 90s feel of it. I remember reading doseofdrama's review before watching it- "Domyoji, if you’re so rich, why can’t you seem to afford a shirt to put under that hideous vest you wear everywhere?" then noticed he's wearing the vest to school but he's wearing a Suit and a Tie to the Disco, that just cracked me up, my mind went all "Japan, baby! + a random mix of all Travolta's movie costumes" :D
I will not rate this drama, because I honestly cannot. It's quite bad but not annoying. The entire time watching this, it felt like it was made by my friends and I, when bored, and that made it quite funny for me.
