I’m so glad I continued until episode 3. It got so interesting and I can’t wait to finish it.
Update: Just finished it and it was so good! There is little confusion but I got the gist of the ending. I would’ve rated it 10 if Wang Quan Sheng story has been shown more. One of the best I’ve watched in a long time.
Ohm was so good! In the first two episodes I felt like Nanon (who I hadn't seen before) was acting circles around…
Truth! It is my first series with them both. At the past episodes, Nanon really take the cake and may have carried Ohm all through out. But in this episode, Ohm really outdid himself and even Nanon. Let’s just be so thankful that we have this series with excellent leads. It reawakens the feelings I had when I watch my first BL. 😊
Episode three solidifies this series as a top contender in my list.
Chemistry is really off the charts! It will be hard for me now to appreciate other current series airing right now. I was first impressed by Nanon since the start but Ohm really did great this episode. I just can’t wait on the succeeding parts and I truly hope it keeps the momentum.
Let’s support support them, co-“buddies”!!! (I read that this is the fandom name)
I got stuck and was thinking if I should continue. I’m currently at episode 7 and the romance since childhood doesn’t sit right with me. Just felt that there was no build-up of relationship between two leads. This was good and cute on early episodes but getting boring as it progressed. So, the one million dollar question, should I abandon the ship?
Just wanted to vent it out and I know many will disagree with me but… my expectations are not met.
The story is really something. The production is great but the portrayal of the character really put it off for me, especially the one who plays Yuki. His acting is a bit forced or faked, in my view. On the other side, Jin did very well on his role as Akira. Can’t say anymore with his acting.
Nonetheless, it was a good watch. Got teary-eyed on some scenes of Akira, especially his coming out and retaliation against society’s standard of normalcy.
Sooo the anime is out and watched the first episode. I came across a fan edit of the same show but live action. Got curious and went here first. Based on the comments, majority was disappointed with the movie. Should I continue with this or just watch purely the anime since it gave more justice from the manga? Thank you for your response.
Thanks for the review. I have just watched the HnG, and that's why I am here as well, haha. But the trailer made…
Thanks for the recommendation! I will check that one out. Indeed, Li Yi Tong is a talented actress and I saw most of her roles are main too, says a lot in her craft that is really something special in this industry.
I only watch this because of Hikaru no Go, and my first time to watch this kind of story; Finished it and it was so good. To be honest, i even rated it higher than HnG. I wonder why it got so low rating though, this show doesn’t deserved it.
And to ask, can anyone recommend this similar kind of series but with both male leads? Thanks.
Why it's not rated higher than WYEL I really don't know, this is so much better in every way imo.
Maybe because the leads in WYEL did better in portraying their roles. Unlike here, I felt an awkward atmosphere between the two leads. Just my two cents.

Special mention to Nanon, he really can ACT. It’s my first series with him. After this, I’ll work on his other shows.
