I loved it. I’m all for more satisfying bonding between the two of them. Also, I think So-Ra is a good influence on her, when it comes to not letting people treat you badly.

I think there are a lot of moments where she’s ruder than she needs to be, but although I was sad to see our Dr Cha get yelled at, I was definitely on Joen’s side for the room cleaning thing. I know it was instinctual and automatic, but that doesn’t make it okay for her to go through Joen’s belongings! It was really invasive, and honestly, moreso once she realizes that was her boyfriend’s mom. But I think she’s going to be with Cha for dealing with the cheating husband, once she adjusts to her shock, lol

I’ve had moments where I’ve felt for her — like with the family funeral, etc — but 98% of the time, I just want to smack that woman. She took the easy route of “blame the other woman instead of your boyfriend who actually cheated on you” and stayed in that mindset for more than 20 years, and she uses it to justify what she does now. Dr Cha isn’t doing that. She’s mad at her, sure, but she knows the person who has actually betrayed her is her husband. BE AN ADULT, SEUNG-HI!!!

And that crap of the son saying the father has until the end of the three years of residency to deal with it?! You are seriously going to do this to your mother for THREE YEARS?!

I was kind of okay with it before yesterday, because I thought from the end of 8 that it was all coming out in the open at the birthday dinner. So I was not a fan of them treating her like she couldn’t handle major choices in her own life, but if it didn’t drag out, then I could deal with it. But then yesterday, I lost all patience.
