I understand where you're coming from because I feel the same way about mainstream dramas. In MY opinion, most non-BL Asian dramas are terrible. I cannot watch them mainly because of how women are usually portrayed. They are either shrill, nasty, vapid, conniving sex sirens, or boss girl, skinny, rich, CEO, perfect, know it alls, or victimized Cinderellas. I only watch historical mainstream dramas. I could not finish Friend Zone, but I'm enjoying Only Friends. So I get it.

I'm just guessing that since Thai is a tonal language, maybe they were trying to make it closer phonetically in the subs, since the actors definitely did not pronounce, "Chan" as rhyming with "can." Thai transliteration sometimes is not phonetic like Romaji. For example, when there is an "L" at the end of some names, I notice that Thai speakers make the "N" sound instead, e.g., Pol = Pon. If they want an English speaker to pronounce it correctly, "Pon" should be in the subs, even though visual in the episode may write it, "Pol." The "P" and "S" sounds at the end of words are often not pronounced, such as "James" being pronounced, "Jame." I could be wrong though.

I know this sounds crazy, but I'm kind of glad that Charn kept a little bit of his gray character traits, and that his husband understands why this is the case.

I want Top and Ton to get together so they can play head games and cheat on each other for years to come. They can get sex from a bare butt under a toilet stall, but choose to hurt people with their games.

You can root for Sand and Nick's friendship to not end up a hot mess...maybe?

1. No favorite overall character. Do not trust any of them.
2. Top - favorite scumbag
3. Ton - second favorite scumbag who is honest with Nick
4. Sand and Nick - favorite "only friends"
5. Ray - favorite character who needs therapy as Sand has already said
6. Mew - favorite studious guy who doesn't want to get hurt, but watch out if you cross him
7. Chueam - favorite female bro (I've been this so many times)

I hope so. Looking forward to it. That's why he got mad when Top told him that he couldn't take care of what he has.

I am trying to be open minded, but the COVID impacted Thai version is much better in acting and storytelling. It has taken me 4 episodes to feel a connection to one of the 4 MC, Sunwoo, now that he has had screen time other than being a doormat. Still not feeling the other 3 because they can be such a$$holes. As much as people like to hate on Thai BL, major weaknesses of KBL are poor acting and storytelling, and this series is not an exception. We're half way through and both couples are still at the push me/pull you stage. Yoo Gyeom still has so many tasks left, starting with breaking up with his girlfriend, that I'm afraid they will rush the ending. I thought the 2nd couple had a nice kiss, then Yoo Gyeom had to ruin the confession! I'm not a hater, but Korea should just stick to messing up their own webtoons, or at least make an effort if they do an overseas adaptation.

Akira's dere-dere side is so cute. No wonder Shin lives for them. I hate the memory loss trope, but it will make writing the letter much easier as he thinks about Shin.

I only want Top and Boston together so they can live unhappily ever after. Mew can find a brand new person to love. He can dump 2 for the price of one.

I'm thinking that Ray has the opportunity to have a real relationship with Sand. Hopefully he will recognize this. With Nick and Sand being roommates, it's just a matter of time before Sand finds out about the Top and Ton car sex tape, and we will see what Sand decides to do with this information.

Except for how she trapped Kelvin, please do not increase the wife's screen time by 70%. Also, I hope they show the son being happy with Kelvin and Archie, to show that Kelvin isn't a bad father just because he is gay.

I know that I'm a buzz kill, but as a person who enjoys a good onsen, as well as sento, they should have gotten out of the pool to have sex. Or both should have worn a condom. I'm sure some Japanese couples have sex in the onsen too, but, I think most would make sure their fluids stay out of the water. I mean, you even have to wash with soap before getting in. I know, it's my hangup but other than that, they shot very good NC scenes for both couples.

We're only on Episode 3 and I'm waiting for the lid to the pressure cooker to explode. Unleash the wrath of Mew and Nick! Top using a 2 year photo/video as an excuse when he was already hard, was flimsy. Glad that Nick was there to watch.

I know that I'm in the minority but, the iron being down on the rug and not smoking really bothered me. I couldn't focus on Sailom being comforted by Kang because I was worried about the allegedly hot iron, causing a fire or toxic fumes being created by the carpet melting. Dang you GMMTV continuity department!
