Title Love Tractor
I'll be the killjoy, but they cut so much of the original story out for the 15 minute episodes, that I am disappointed in this series. They should have had 30-45 minute episodes to do the webtoon justice. The webtoon does not have graphic sex, and they do not make love (rated PG, no light sabers) until the very end, and there is very little skinship. So that wasn't the issue for butchering the story. Yechan spent too much time with the foreigner (John? I forgot his name), who was not Yechan's sole confidant, instead of with Yul. This is why I still have not watched Semantic Error. I am one of critics of Korea BL, and poor storytelling is one of the reasons why. The actors were suited for the roles, did the kissing scene properly too. It's too bad they didn't get to present the whole story.

It would be completely ridiculous to make Pat head of the department and just set him up for dismal failiure as…
They should have followed the original story where Jeng brought in someone from outside the company - a woman.

If I see one more predictable sub-plot about a Shih-Tzu that gets kidnapped, I will shoot my TV.
Or Ace's housekeeper who is now a social media influencer.

what ?
The Thai title I think. Kawi means poem, Pisaeng means lightyear according to the person who translated the first chapter of the book, under "Recent Discussions."

Phathit and Thana really need to think seriously about what's happening.Thana needs to consider why he allowed…
If Thana cannot emotionally be in a relationship with a hospital doctor, then he should take the blowjob man and move on. Hospital doctors work a lot of hours and are always working, especially in the beginning of their careers. Thana is the stereotype - a sex driven young man, and he may not have the emotional maturity yet. This will give Patis the opportunity to find someone who is willing to be in a relationship with a hospital doctor. My only advice for Thana - don't date a fire figher, ambulance driver, police officer or pilot either. Stick to another office worker. Before the cheating, being emotionally incompatible doesn't make them bad people, but cheating was a bad act.

This series is light, but also has underlying meanings. For example, Pisaeng is gay, not just gay for Kawi, and most BL viewers usually hate gay for you stories.. Marrying Pear would have been a decision to stay closeted. Pear would be a beard, a pretty and kind beard, but still a beard. At least now, Pear will not end up married to a closeted gay man.

I though it was wonderful that Pisaeng decided to learn more about his feelings toward other men. He is gay period. Even though he was attracted to Kawi for years, until his interactions with Kawi and their mutual search for honesty, he did began to acknowlege his sexual orientation, rather than fear it. Kawi is a little slower but he will get there.

No Pat didn't explain it. He obviously was puckering his lips, and he let her "force" him for a very long time.…
It's very noticeable at the end of Episode 7 because they didn't have all of the cuts. When Pat saw the lunch on the ground, he should have known that he was busted, but acted so shocked. Episode 8 was just a hot mess to me.

hi, may I know where you read the book.
Archive of Our Own, search for Gradual Love. It isn't done yet, but Pat has many inner thoughts for the decisions he makes. It's a slow burn though.

My theory about Lomfon is this….he has tapped into the genetic β€œnetwork” of the Sengtai/ Saengthian family.…
They still haven't explained why Tai's soulmate parents split up, and how will her new husband feel when she can't hear him when it rains, but can still hear her ex? I really like the concept, but there are so many plot holes that it ruins the universe building that needs to take place.

Pat was puckering his lips too, except in the extreme close ups.

We have to go through this because of Pat's immaturity and self created worst case scenarios. I understand what he is thinking, but Pat seems to be the type who has to learn by screwing things up, as he has done many times in this series. We all have friends or family like Pat.

It would have been better if this happened 2 episodes ago, because according to the book, we still have to deal with some drama, and Pat's stinkin' thinkin' where the family is concerned and we are running out of episodes.

I agree. I think that the acting/directing/post production may have been the problem if they wanted it be non-consensual.

Thank you for correctly referring to the kiss as non-con. I think that Pat kissed her back, that's my opinion,…
I normally do not participate in the consent/SA discussions on this board because although I do NOT condone SA in real life, most of the discussions are superficial, or university speak. I also do not condone kink shaming fantasies that other people have. I entered the BL genre through manga, where kinks are more acceptable. I'm not into non-con, toys, or group sex, themes, but a lot of women are. So many Korean webtoons are full of rape and sexual assault, but this same generation (sorry, but I can tell by their arguments they are mostly young) is gobbling it up like Christmas candy. They then go on forums and act like they are appalled.

I don't watch dramas other than BL, so I'm not sure about that scene with Tay, but I can believe that it was excused away.

So I guess Lomfon was right all along about a coincidental frequency people might have that allows them to hear…
Thank you for correctly referring to the kiss as non-con. I think that Pat kissed her back, that's my opinion, but others saw the situation differently. If Pat was just an innocent bystander, and Nara swooped in for the kiss to the point where he had a fight/flight/freeze response, then it was non-con. Fight/flight/freeze is a response to a perceived aggression or fear and is triggered by the amygdala. The only reason I am rubbing this in is, MDL viewers are usually hysterical over a drunken kiss, a sleep kiss on the cheek. Yet a woman can kiss a man without his consent, and the bees have stayed in the hive. Is this misandry, or a hypocritical, sexist double standard?

The most interesting even of this last episode is Lomfon being the wizard of the soulmates, where he can hear both Pat and Tai. I hope they explain this in Episode 9.

I was surprised Pat didn't address that accidental kiss with Tai.. something is missing somewhere.
In my opinion, the kiss was not accidental, Nara intentionally kissed him, and Pat kissed her back, as demonstrated by the scenes in this episode. He only had Ken doll lips in the extreme close-ups, otherwise his lips were puckered, which was the fault of the director and post-production during editing, if he did not reciprocate. But I'm old enough to be able to see if a person is kissing back. If the theory is that Pat was not a willing participant, then Nara SA'd him, which normally spins up the MDL hivemind. But since a woman was the assaulter - silence.

Either way, Pat should have addressed it, and not let Tai rationalize that it was okay. It reminded me of those catfish stories where the scam victim finds any piece of dust to rationalize the behavior. All roads lead Tai to feel he has not good enough, and a good almost boyfriend would have tried to reassure Tai, instead of stone faced silence when Tai was pouring his heart out.
