You can tell this show’s growth by the cast list. I think it only had four people on it forever and now it’s exploded overnight.

I see things differently. I think Phayu is bullying Noey because Noey is hilarious when he gets jealous over nothing. Phayu is just using Thi as a means for comic relief. Phayu doesn’t even know Thi nor does he seem to pursue him outside of when he’s with Noey. I’m laughing along with Phayu😏

It has many camp and farce moments, which I love, but not everyone likes that.

I think that Phayu just likes to bully Noey. Some younger males like to soft bully males younger than them. I don’t know if Phayu is even attracted to Thi. I think he likes pulling Noey’s strings, getting him to react. Haha

I’m so happy to hear this! This show is such a gem and one of the best.

Plus street business is kept in the streets. People are not going to just go crying to the police if nobody got seriously hurt or killed. The mom and sister wouldn’t have been touched had they not tried to get involved. The guys just pushed them away, they didn’t beat up on them or Thi. The issue was between them in Noey. These guys are in a gang. They are not BFFs with the cops. You would be considered weak if you went to the police. I don’t think people understand how street business works sometimes. You have a point about the cops. I saw the plastic bag video that happened in the police station.

Most people on forums are not from the streets and do not understand this is street business. Thi is going to try to protect the mom and sister to the extent can but Thi is not from the streets either. The mom and sister have had more exposure to the streets than Thi has. Noey did not show up to the fight so as stupid as it is they don’t care if it’s 6on one. Thi didn’t jump in but he didn’t call the cops either. This is the life he doesn’t want for Noey.

Does anyone know what the headbands translate to? If there was a subtitle I missed it.

Also to provide context, Pam and Oh do not have a problem with stigma and they do not hold hands or are shown doing PDA. Pam rests her knee on Oh’s that’s how we know she forgave him and is in a mutual relationship with Oh. For this community the neighborhood) it seems that Thi and Noey are not moving too slowly with their relationship.

I think in real life, people take it slower, get to know each other, watch from afar before entering a relationship. Noey wants to court, not hook up. I also like seeing leads who are not heirs to a fortune and not driving luxury cars.

If we based a series on episode 1, many of us would never have watched Love Sick, which to me has one of the most confusing, and all around bad episode 1 in live action BL.

US is mostly 9-12 too, but most countries in Asia are 10-12. Some people loved Kim and Chay in KP (I know there were critics too) and at the time Barcode was under 18. Maybe Thai culture isn't as strict around this. I'm not sure.

If it doesn't hit you, it's okay. TBH, I didn't like a lot about Not Me. I felt the western style of preaching and protesting by elites at university (compared to a person who is a laborer, uni students are elites) honestly only annoyed me. I think Teh from ITSAY/IPYTM is one of the most selfish lead characters in BL. While I'm committing BL sins writing this opinion, I did finish them. I just fast forwarded through a lot of Not Me, and rolled my eyes and yelled at Oh during the scenes with Teh. But since you do not care for the whole thing, there isn't anything wrong with you if you don't like it or drop it. I enjoy this series because these guys are trying to be comfortable in their own skin, while still trying to still get approval from their parents. Instead of having yelling and screaming matches, or a pity party, they are trying to work things out. Even Winnie and Sound, and other characters are trying to find their path, as they struggle through that tough time between childhood and adulthood.

I don't think he is necessarily switching teams, but he is letting go of Pam because he knows that she does not having feelings for him, and he didn't get angry when Oh stepped in, which is the opposite of what happened when Thi accidentally stepped on the flower. Since Noey thinks that Thi already likes him, Noey is being the Pam in the situation, and wants to give Thi a chance. I know I'm not making any sense but neither do Noey and Thi.

I'm not understanding why the younger generation is stuck on labeling. Should I say "gay friend" instead of just "friend?" I used to hang out in the bars many years ago, and now and then I would meet a random guy who would talk to me or another female friend and all of the sudden he was straight. Dude is alone, standing by the wall, so yeah right. He may have been bi or curious, but I didn't care. He would care, but nobody else in the room did. I do not identify gay family members as gay, I introduce them by their relationship to me. If I introduce so and so and their partner, I don't say he/she is gay/bi/pan, people can figure it out. Maybe some of it is self-appointed allyship, when in the past, the family took us in, as friends and hags. I'm just rambling, but we've made a lot of progress, so the focus on labels is kind of surprising. I'll stop rambling now.

In most of the world high school is grade 10-12, so there are no Freshmen. I think they mistranslated that.

I thought Noey would move faster based on how he was with Pam. lol

Do you know if this is a book series or a single volume? I can't find any translations online. I'm going to be traveling next week, and would love to read it, even though I'm sure they made changes.
