That's too bad. I've known more than one person who died from lung cancer and COPD, and with Gen-Z not having children, they will be in nursing homes, it the smoking gets them. Thankfully none of the GenZ people I work with or in my family smoke or vape.
I did not see his original comments and I'm not reading a third party opinion piece, probably written by an emotional woman. We women are the one of the most toxic elements of BL with our continual complaining and indignation. I understood that some straight guy (Oat) isn't going to understand when so many "fujoshi" (I do not consider myself one) can't grasp the concept either, based on the many "dumb" questions I saw on ABO Desire's board. I mean basic crap left people confused. So I will forgive an actor's ignorance when the fan base is just as ignorant. Someone on another board of show with only previews, asked who the "top" was in the series. They were ignorant, not trying to be homophobic, but not everyone is perfect or all knowing. Ruts, heats and knotting were influenced by animals, and yes some gurls love it, just like they like guys smoking 3 packs of cigarettes a day on a series, slowing killing themselves, like in Revenged Love, 4 Minutes and Shine. In 2025, promoting smoking is stupid, but I tolerate it for the people who are into that fetish.
Machida looks just like the manga but Suzuki is supposed to be half Cuban. I wonder if that will ever be brought up or if we accept that he just looks full Japanese. I'm sure Machida was sore after all of that ballroom dancing, because in the manga, Sugiki always has perfect posture and body position.
Sounds like he is telling the truth though. That's what knotting is because although I know zero about Supernatural, I think it's about werewolves and that's the fandom that started writing omegaverse fan fiction. During knotting, the Alpha and Omega are stuck. I say worse about fujoshis.
I don’t understand why some people here are already dragging Abo Desire. Abo Desire opened the doors for omegaverse…
ABO Desire was made in a country with strict rules regarding showing homosexuality, and Thailand does not have those restrictions. Three months ago, most of the people on this platform did not even grasp the basic Alpha and Omega relationship and now they're experts? I read many ignorant (meaning uninformed, not dumb) questions about the basics. So yeah, right.
Machida looks like he stepped out of the manga. I love this manga series and have been following it for years. I wish it were not on Netflix because of the paywall, but I'm looking forward to watching this.
Neither because they are both men and there is no female lead. They dance with female partners so they both take the lead in dance. In gay relationships there isn't a female type since they are both men.
This universe has fated pairs, so there may be problems if Nakhun's brother's fated pair enters the situation. Alpha and Beta males cannot reproduce and it's hard to resist the pheromone's of a fated pair. I've read stories where this situation happens, usually to the main couple.
I don't know why I thought this was going to be a very mature BL series involving BDSM and stuff lol. I misunderstood…
NOVEL SPOILER DO NOT READ IF YOU WILL HAVE A MELTDOWN
They are not into BDSM in the novel. They do play with toys for fun and there's just some spicy stuff, but no contracts, negotiations, anything like that.
Thomas is going to have to be on his A game acting wise for this role. If they follow the novel, they run the risk of making me dislike Anwar almost as much as I dislike Tey from the ITSAY franchise. Kong will also have to work on showing emotions. I'm not sure if the author has lived in the US, and granted, I'm not in NYC, but most people do not think smoking is cool or even neutral. I work with GenZ'ers and none of them smoke or vape, maybe they do when they go out, but not on the daily like the Greatest Generation. Even boomers knew about cancer and COPD. Anyway, as much as I'll be annoyed watching this, it is a great opportunity for Thomas and Kong to show their range as actors, because neither of the characters is perfect.
I'm going to put this on my on-hold list and remove it from my plan to watch. I don't really want to do an open ending or a sad ending. I'm not good with angst, so maybe if I watch this with a friend it will be better, but none of my friends or family want to watch this type of show.
I'm not the biggest fan of KBL (that's just my opinion), but I really loved this series, mainly due to the acting. I'm also not into Kpop at all so I was glad that I didn't have to fast forward through a bunch of songs, especially with 20 minutes of original content per episode. It was simple and to the point, and I really liked the male lead.
I finished this series and it was wonderful. I even forgive all of the plot holes. I'm wondering if this is a novel adaptation or an original screenplay since so many things were left unanswered. Such as, will Pin and Saenkaew stay married forever? Did dad turn down the offer in Nanta? What happened to Pin's house after her father died and where is the step-mother? Is she in prison for conspiracy to kill Sansin? Did Inthorn's wife get caught? How did Inthorn's wife keep her dress clean while the rest of her was filthy? If there's a novel out there, please let me know.
