Update: couldn’t get through episode one…. 😭 maybe these types of shows aren’t my cup of tea (more of a crime/makjang/thriller kinda person)

Wait until you find out this show is a webtoon adaption and you guessed it! It happens in the original too… if you’re going to be angry at how and why they died take that up with the webtoon writer idk… it was good to me. Besides, even if they didn’t die by a mass shooting and it was a sphere invasion you guys would still come on here saying the ending was disappointing and part 2 was pointless (in which I’d have to agree, that would be such a boring ending)

The confession felt so disingenuous though 😭 … how does one feel all those things even though they’d seen the person maybe twice before hand in the first episode?? Everything else was great

He had a rifle in a room full of kids you don’t necessarily have to be an Olympic athlete to point a gun and shoot which might I add they were all trained to do. He also took some shots from some of the kids who were fast enough to get him before nara finished him off so it wasn’t completely non sensical. It just so happened they all had their guns down whilst all he had to do was continuing shooting and moving the gun side to side. If we were to analyse it on the scale you are, does it make much sense for lieutenant Lee to have been the only one who survived at the start when he had virtually nothing to defend himself (special ammo hadn’t been developed yet) ? what about the dude at the prison ? how does one die from losing their eyes only ? It’s a tv show.. it’s not supposed to make absolute 100% sense not everything does in dramas anyways.

Edit: The subs on the website and the subs on the app are actually different. The subs on the app are the bad ones however it’s pointless using the website unless you don’t want to watch in full screen

It’s not that, it’s auto generated so whatever is being heard is automatically being subbed it seems.

I think the emotional connection to the characters is also playing a role but I agree some people may just be copying each other. Also you’re welcome, let me know what you think when you finish it!

I think them dying by spheres would’ve been way more disappointing as everything would’ve been for nothing and the show would be pointless. However I do like how they explored that possibility in the ending when jangsoo opens the door. We can both agree that the show was good though

Idk I liked it. I don’t think a happy ending where they are all together alive and well would’ve suited this show

Only thing I agree with here is the wanting them to expand on the aliens adaptations apart from that it would just be dragging since they’ve used just about every survivals show trope in the first part alone

I think she did well with what she was given (which wasn’t much) her character was so beyond stupid and naive that it’s only normal we feel frustrated watching her. Imo park jihoo was the one lacking in the performance for me . 0 range and always looked almost bored with a straight face but ig since she’s considered a rookie actor we’ll have to wait to see some improvement

You said this was the best next to forgotten doesn’t that mean they’re both on par with each other for the best k movie? What I think you meant to say was ‘after forgotten’ as that would imply forgotten is the best kmovie. Either way we can agree forgotten is up there defo don’t agree with parasite being up there too though
