Sometimes Chinese into English subs might not be the most accurate because some words might not have an exact translation, so 'sister' can be just a way to call a girl/woman who is older/younger. Thus, most of the time when a character calls someone sister, they're not really related. Korean is also the same where you can call a older female 'eonnie' or an older male 'oppa'.

they did resolve the amnesia just took a really long time. When you also compare the Mu Tingzhou and the FL arc vs the Mu Yun and FL arc, Mu Yun's relationship with the FL was paced wayyyy better than the one with Mu Tingzhou, The latter was way to rushed and didn't really feel right for them to be together imo

I don't really understand how Ming Wei is Xiao Zhao's younger sister. They said that their grandmother didn't let their father marry Ming Wei's mother. So the only possible explanation is that it happened years after Xiao Zhao's mother passed. So is there a pretty big age gap between the FL and the ML? Cause Xiao Zhao and his younger sister both mentioned that Ming Wei is their younger sister. And there's no way that their father fell in love again so fast after their mother passed imo. Was an age gap ever mentioned? I don't really remember cause I picked it up a year after I dropped it.
