They all did a wrist grabbing....it is unfortunately a asian trope.
Is he arrogant yes...is he entitled..in a sense...he was brought up that way...he had no problem sharing with his brother...(his mom manipulates many situations) ...but if she was able to clearly say she didn't love him and want nothing to do with him. I firmly believe his character would've left her alone.

She fell in love with him without knowing before they knew they were engaged. Even so.
No one own anyone and we can't force our feeling on others to make them love us. He knew she didn't love him and manipulates the situations. Knowing this he continues to force that upon her without her true consent. That isn't love. That is manipulations and obsession. He said he gave up things for xu feng. Xu feng has no problem sharing with him. These are the Sins of the parents.
That is also the point of the story....history repeating itself....and the Sins of the parents manipulating the situation.

None of the characters is perfect but run yu loses point by manipulating the situation and forcing something upon someone who doesn't want it. It is forcing on her with out her true consent.
Him as a character emote really well. All 3 of them did great emoting....I don't have SLS with his character.

Xu feng is arrogant...ect..isn't perfect and yes he is the protagonist...that is beside the point. Many protagonist can be asshole. His character didn't force anything upon other or was manipulative.
At the end XU feng hold no grudge to his brother.
Love is something that CAN'T be forced. If you really love someone and they don't share the same feelings....them being happy is what we should root for....at this point it is about possession of their body....I can't be behind that.
That is my per peeve on many drama and love triangle. The character push their feelings on the other even though they knew the person don't like them that way. But because of their situation....they think they deserves it and do lots of manipulations to gain it.
I.e. I chose to do all these nice things and sacrifice for you because I love you....therefore you OWE me your love because I did so much for you. Even though I clearly know you have no romantic feelings for me.

They each love her for her carefree and silly personality. She makes them smile and their heart flutters.

Being smart and having common sense are 2 different things. Some of us are fortunate to have both and some of us is one or the other.
If you can't stand it dont continue. There is an explanation of why she is like that. The pill manipulates her feeling to distinguish certain things. She also lived a shelter world.

I also skip those scenes and then later went back and rewatched and it was good. They all emote soo well.
I don't like angst but...I went back and skim the villians...their scenes with the other actors is good. Her remorse and realization of what happen even before she suspect there was shady things...what she did for him
