Yes I was suprised when I saw the reuters. I thought she would play the death god since she was the fl but looks like she is acting as the ml's girlfriend. Since I watched the original kdrama, I think the girlfriend does have more scenes than the death god. But it would have been so interesting to see her play a ruthless character, oh well.

There is an article about death's game remake and most people are sceptical. But since this adaptation is a movie, there will be a lot of changes. I am sure the adaptation will be good since it is made a famous director's son. We'll see when it gets released, but it is good that mai mai is trying roles in movies.

I have been missing mai mai lately and feel like I haven't seen her in a while. Then I realised she will be filming back to back high profile movies with no reuters 😭. Only times we can see her is when irreplacable releases or if she does magazine shoots/ad promotions in between. But I am glad that she is filming movies 🥰

I think her next movie is the remake of the kdrama death's game.

It's her choice whether she wants to do kiss scenes or not, we should respect that. Romance wasn't the main genre in the dramas she did with lin yi and wei long, so it is okay there were no kiss scenes. I do think passionately in love was a miscast, but her future roles appear to be more slice of life and serious. She doesn't have to do kiss scenes if she doesn't want to.

Definetely, I am enjoying so far. I don't mind criticism as long as no one says anything hateful towards the actors.

It's true that fandoms can be toxic, especially on weibo. But what shocked me was how toxic his fans were on mdl. I was so used to toxicity and hate on my favourite actress by zlh fans, than I was suprised when the drama shine on me aired, that there were no fandom fights. There are male actors fandoms who are less toxic and respectful towards their female co- stars, and that makes it so much more enjoyable to interact and watch cdramas.
