Well this drama is rebirth but it is not fully revenge. I have only read a few chapters of the novel, but from my understanding it is more about redemption. Basically the main couple didn't have a happy marriage and they had a lot of misunderstandings. In their 2nd life they learn to forgive and accept each other, and fulfill their happy marriage.

Yes! His father is disgusting. He is trying to control how his son lives and doesn't care about his feelings at all. Like the mc said, it is probably because the father faced trauma in his childhood, and is inflicting the same pain on his son. He probably doesn't know how to raise his son properly and definetely needs some parental therapy.
