I kind of like that they quickly went through the 2nd mls story in 4 eps so that we can fully focus on the ml and fl in the future eps. In the novel the ml only appears in chapter 15 so the drama is already reducing the 2nd ml's screentime. If there were flashbacks I feel like it will ruin the flow between the fl and ml's love story.

I really wished she could act in a dystopian drama. I wanted her to be in we live in nanjing but I think they already have selected the cast for that. I hope she does something like that in the future.
