nicest comment ive read instead of hating the actors/actresses because the drama is not their cup of tea
That's how it should always be, the k-drama industry and fandom is unbelievably toxic and I wish it wasn't. So many great shows and movies to watch but a lot of people are turned off by the toxicity in the k-drama space.
The ML is excellent. I like his character. The pace is good as well as there is no dragging issue here. This series…
Finished Season 1 yesterday and I have to say it really picked up a lot. Was so wholesome when the ML started showing some emotions and smiled a bit. Also loved the FL, chemistry is great. Not a 10/10 for me because I wasn't really hooked in the first 2 episodes, but really close, 9.5/10 is definitely deserved.
I wouldn't consider this genre "horror" at all tbh
I agree!
To me Death Games fall more into the category Psychological/Thriller. There's a lot of mind games involved and it's more so about...let's call it "mental violence".
There of course can be aspects to death games with horror elements, but overall i think it fits best into Psychological/Thriller, since you're always on the edge of your seat and think a lot about how the game is structured and what the nature behind it is.
Started watching it yesterday, Episode 1 was really slow, but having watched 4 episodes now I have to say it just keeps getting better...really looking forward to what's next :)
I watched this a few months ago, I still don't know why so many people like this movie. Plot was straight up garbage, yes it's a revenge story, but even I have standards for revenge stories. The cinematography was really good yes, but that alone does not deserve a 7.8 rating.
The acting was average and characters are forgettable. The action scenes were decently acted but there was no tension, everything seemed too easy.
I gave it a 4.5 in the end for the cinematography, but the rest is just really disappointing.

Will start Season 2 today!
