Can someone spoil me whether ML has realized CP is a woman?

This drama somehow reminds me of The Tale of Nokdu. Customs surrounding widows, the time period, and how the male and female lead are supposed to be dead. The chemistry is so good. Yuri's acting impressed me so much. There is one sad scene that even moved me to tears. I really have to hold myself from binging this series. Really glad the Korean ratings increases gradually. Hope it remains good until the end of the series.

Bruh~ why it's not available in any providers I use? At least VIU or iQIYI. And the subs are fansubs from Viki? Another bruh moment.

Maybe it's just me, but the hairline of the wigs that are put on male actors seem so off putting.

Totally agree with you. While Sifeng & Xuanji's suffering and love story is more of a fairytale and ethereal, Ling long and Minyan's love story is what normal mortal experiences. I feel really sad when Ling long lost her old self and Minyan struggled to convinced her that he would always be by her side.

Rewatching this series and it totally has high rewatching values. Notice a small hint and foreshadowing here and there. Totally not in any mood to start watching other series as I need to recover from post-drama syndrome first. Though I bet it's not anytime soon.

This is my first Xianxia drama and I love it so much. I REALLY have troubles watching Xianxia dramas because of the cringy CGI and convoluted lores that I can't keep track of. I rarely watch Chinese dramas, but once I do, I have a hard time to let it go. I'm a sucker for tragic love story and this drama has everything I want for a perfect drama. The closure it gives to every character arcs, the plot twists and revelations, the struggles and obstacles the main and side pairings have to go through~ I love each and every one of them.

This is, by far, the most difficult series to find on the Internet with subtitles on every 76 episodes. Netflix and Amazon Prime cut it down into 6 episodes while the ones on Youtube is complete but doesn't have subtitles in all episodes. And don't get me started on pirated links. I always find myself rewatching this series, especially the second half, and for every rewatch I'm always trapped in search engine blackhole finding this series.

Definitely recommended if you're looking for light-hearted drama to fill your time. Certainly will give you a good laugh from its silly comedy and make you feel fluffy inside from its cute romance~
