why? what's in it? is it the kmovie one with gong yoo? you can spoil me
Yes it is that old movie with gong yoo. All those real life scandals of orphans being abused by teachers , this was doubly worse as they were disabled children, imo. And the story was brought to media but they overlooked it!!! Only after this movie the media couldn’t ignore it and so couldn’t the authorities

Love your comment! Absolutely, giving birth doesn't make one a mother. To be honest, I still have one episode…
I understand, dramas close to heart will make me have flashbacks every now and then, even without a rewatch. I really liked the second fl more in LITM which is a first for me haha

Actually no, I never wrote any review on any drama come to think of it. I think of LITM as fusion period drama which is okay if only the modern or exaggerated elements doesn’t change or sugercoat the real truth. PBG character was written well, too perfect maybe. His passion for his country seemed to contradict his passion for Ra-on, even the ending seems flowery happy, but doesn’t clarify what is their end relationship , wife? Concubine? since she is daughter of rebel? Growing up as orphan boy, Ra-on wasnt what I expected either, very one dimensional. Sorry about the long comment 😂

I absolutely loved empress ki 6 years ago and I still do. The fact the ending was heartbreaking with how it went for king, her children and herself, only adds great justice to the story. We saw how one person can love more than person, albeit differently. Giving birth doesn’t equate to being a mom always. So many things. Same goes for moon lovers, and I never complain about the ending, most of the characters fate was tragic and marginally realistic too. Compared to this , there exists this travesty called “love in the moonlight “. Not a single thing other park bo gum was good about this drama, and I felt his potential was ridiculed in this farce. A great example of history and fiction mix is my forever favorite book series, “Outlander” [ not the tv adaptation though]]
