Daesung award this year baffles me. As variety performer I would think even lee kwang soo would make more sense but in a whole I was expecting actor getting Daesang.

I really don't have a leg to stand on if I want to argue my point, as I haven't watched Penthouse(only youtube clips). However "actor/ actress portay that character in different scenes" applies to Hye Sun in Mr. Queen too, in every scene. As two different person, one guy and one girl. And there were two controversaries tbh, distorting history and alleged homosexual elements. What's done is done though, not everyone can be happy with a single outcome, sigh.

True, although for me I always like actresses with character diversity more. And Shin Hye Sun seemed to be in the industry for a while yet not widely recognized.

Look at the poster of "voice of silence" and Yoo Ah In in award acceptance. They are the same person!! His roles hides so much how handsome he is when he just cleans up well.

And maybe in a million years Lee joon gi would get taken seriously and acknowledged that he can act despite being flower boy. I do admit Shin Ha Kyun was equally worth it though.

I am still unable to accept that Shin Hye Sun not winning best actress. I haven't watched Kim so yeon in penthouse nor intend to so don't want to comment on her acting. Still the plot of penthouse seems all American daytime soap operas mixed together so character wise I don't see what's new. On the other hand, an actress who copied mannerisms of a man and essentially played two characters does not get recognized. Korean media creates unnecessary controversy and are scared of those controversies themselves. my blood is boiling.

I never knew the term MPDG existed, but strangely fits the image I always had of some of the characters. I always felt this way about Kaori in “your lie in April”

Bong Hwan turned his life around and he looked like he is finally at peace, he will probably have a real relationship now when he used to be a player. So yong's sould taught him how to love, it doesn't have to be king.

If you watched Mr. Queen Bamboo secret, you would know king fell in love with So yong twice actually, one when they were trapped inside the well, again when they met before marriage, politics and revenge just got in the way. And bong hwan made him notice so yong, but he wouldn't fall in love with a crazy girl all of a sudden either, doesn't make sense. Bong hwan and so yong were merged together so he fell in love third time with both. I know it feels like a cop out but all things doesn't have to be strictly straight/homesexual, it can be mixture of both.
