There's no problem to watch Asian dramas and movies here if you have internet connection. No dramas are sent on TV but the usual internet sites like GoodDrama and YoDrama etc. are always available. Even though Viki only have a few dramas atm but they've promised to put more dramas up in the near future.
I don't know very much about how the general English knowledge amongst the people is but I think it's quite good ^^

No no!! It's not a boring country at all! It's fun to live and be here and there's a lot to do and a lot of places to visit if you wish. It's interensting in so many ways! :)
It's only flaws are in the aspect of kpop (or Jrock) bands coming to Sweden. There is none. For now at least xD, but also that aspect is getting better and better ^^

I am currently reading the manga too and there's many scenes I wish would've included in the drama

LOVE the article! I can relate to everything you say! (Exept the third one...) The everyday life does become better thanks to dramas.
But another significant effect of dramas is meeting all the amazimg new people! May it be here on MDL, some other social network or in real life, there will most likely be newcomers in your life!
