I’m at ep12 now but this drama is getting boring. I will probably stay for kim kwon’s character because I…
I had much of the same feelings as you, I found it a bit boring and very predictable, sometimes annoying. But it was still just entertaining enough for me to finish it all so there's that. But most of my laughs were at the drama, not with it if that's any explanation. The acting was alright, tho!
kissing men????? omg!!!!! where???? when??? with whom???? I really need to see that!!!!!
I think they were refering to that musical about Leopold and Loeb he and Kang Ha Neul did way back when they weren't very popular yet. They've later talked about how they had to kiss eachother deeply multiple times in it, more than with actresses later
To anyone who wants to give this show a try and needs tips on episodes, I'd say watch ep. 46 with Infinite and ep. 103 with Jin Goo and Joon Hee. Those two are some of my favourites among the plethora of hilarious episodes and I can assure you they will bring many hard laughs and unforgettable scenes.
I think Strong Woman is one of the most overrated dramas of all time. I think you, like many other kdrama fans,…
The filming for DotS started less than a year before its broadcast date, somewhere after May 15 2015 (the day Song Joongki was released from the military). It had to be completely pre-produced partly because of the overseas filming and partly since it was to be released in China and Korea simultaneously and so it had to be screened to make sure it adhered to China's broadcast rules. Maybe it was planned for a long time, but it can't have been fully done until at very most half a year before broadcast.
I had the same mind at first, but when I thought about it... It's a really good drama, but you shouldn't watch it for the "best friends turned lovers" storyline as in my opinion that wasn't what was great about it. Sort of the same with Goblin: it had a superb "supernatural being or entity of some kind" thing going on but the plot was just awful.
However, saying not to watch City Hunter and instead watch Healer?? That to me is where the real crime is!
Missing him in dramas and movies! His acting is one of the biggest reasons I got into asian dramas in the first…
He was in two episodes of this American tv show called Girls. Even though it was only for a few scenes, it was good to see him again. (The show itself isn't my cup of tea, but you get a Mizushima in a public bath so who am I to complain.)
Most of all? That's a hard one, but I think I'll have got to with Lee Taekwon's The Man Behind the Moon. It's so damn beautiful and never fail to fill me with emotion.
Hello, whoever is reading this. Please, if you see this comment and there are english subtitles for this movie,…
Since you're asking for eng subs specifically, have you seen this movie anywhere even without subs? I can't find anything at all other than the trailer...
I'm not sure I remember completely, but I suppose it was something about how Chinese dramas are usually distributed. Unless the drama is from some kind of major station or there are special circumstances, it can take years for a Chinese drama to hit the market and then even longer internationally. My Sweet City was made in 2013 but didn't get a release date until last year. Though, since it still hasn't been released (at least not to my knowledge) the future for this one doesn't seem very bright...
Best article in a while! Agree with at least Beom Jo, Hui Gyeong and definitely Ha Joon (it was heart wrenching to watch him realise he would never get her)
