To be honest I think it's an open ending. I say happy ending because I don't want to cry anymore😂

However, deep down, I interpreted it as a sad ending. With both of them dead😢

Same. I wish the queen's soul completely left (which means she would die but well...)
Plus they could have shown us the male soul in the background throughout the series with his male voice.
I hope they'll make another remake that won't shy away from that "male love male" part

I don't fully remember the series. It has been years since I watched. In my memories the king knew he was a man. Maybe I was wrong? Or was it only implied so some people missed the hint?🤔

Anyways in this series, the guy and the queen didn't share the body. The queen's soul left and the guy's soul came to the body. So when the king fell in love with "her", he fell for the soul (he didn't love the queen before that).
And, of course, it's the guy who fell in love with the king, not the queen since she isn't here anymore.

Though the writing & editing could have been done better. For example they could have shown us, the viewers, the guy's soul throughout the series, whichever way they chose to do so would be okay.
And when he was thinking, they should've used his male voice.

Also the male didn't trick the king? At 1st both hated each other. It wasn't a love marriage. Then they both fell in love.



"And how can only showing queer relationship make a drama better?" I didn't say that? I said that, since I didn't watch Mr.Queen, I can't say which one is better. To compare both dramas, I have to watch them both. Plus I know Go princess Go! has a lot of flaws and Mr.Queen a higher budget.

However I think they were more honest about the "male falling for another male" part because the female's soul didn't stay in her body to appear every time they showed love between the king and queen.



P.S: showing queer relationship can make a drama better in 1 situation: when we're talking about the representation. It doesn't mean that everything in the drama is better, but that point could be. I hope you understand what I mean😅

However sometimes I only know I've watched it, but forget everything else...except the big plot twist that I remember some time later, way before the revelation🤦‍♀️🥲

Well a happy ending could be possible. Depends on the universe and writing.

I really hope for a higher quality series. Plus imagine Ryan as a fashionista sassy frenemy🤭 I also like enemies to lovers trope.

I'm not against a well written childhood/best friend to lover trope either(I'm in the mood for that lately). Imagine them being bickering, sweet, protective married couple without them realizing they're in love😂

Sadly Sprite didn't suffer enough. My sadistic side felt that First forgave him too soon🥲

Okay. I thought you were a new fan. Because that was my reaction when I first watched Thai BL in 2015. And there wasn't Perth to explain. So for a long time I just accepted the weird names without fully understanding😂
