Realistic portrayal of modern relationships

***SPOILERS AHEAD***

i dont understand why everyone is so pressed about this show and keep saying its toxic. I understand you would believe it to be toxic if either: 1. you re against friends with benefits relationships, 2. you liked the webtoon more or 3. you forgot the fact that Na Bi is aware that what they have is not an actual serious relationship and is AGREEING with it. The lack of communication they have in some parts of the story is what leads them to stop seeing each other casually and breaking up. And in my opinion that relationship is not toxic, what s toxic is not communicating properly and imagining what the other person is thinking or doing without actually discussing it.
That said, I think this is an amazing portrayal of actual, real modern relationships, I'm sure it s not like that in every country so I guess some people can relate more to it than others. These kinds of relationships are not usually shown on kdramas so it was really refreshing to see an unusual romance story with more raw scenes and realistic/relatable moments

My only complaint is about the SML, i feel like the character lacks depth and they kind of did the actor dirty because he s a really good actor but the character doesnt do him justice

The OST is amazing and i saved most of the songs on my kdrama playlist lol

Even if you think their relationship is toxic
nobody can deny that the chemistry between the ML and the FL is incredible and they did a really good job at portraying their characters

Refreshing performance by Eun Woo

I really like the fact that Eun Woo got to act in a drama that is not about teen romance, I feel like people may think he cant act that well just because they always give him similar roles. Here he shows how he s capable of acting outside of the usual "teenager who likes girl" role. I cannot imagine how annoying it must be for him to hear he s handsome all the time and nobody giving him credit for his acting and not his looks, it must be exhausting.
I hope we will be seeing him in more mature roles like this one in the future (i know he also appeard on the island but that show s so bad i cant even count it)

An unexpected GEM

***SPOILERS AHEAD***

I started this show on a random day just because I didnt know what to watch and didnt wanna commit to anything too long or deep and man, I couldnt have been more wrong. I think the reason I liked it so much is partly because I wasnt expecting it to be so good. Ji Chang Wook as usual, delivers an amazing performance and the chemistry between them is just incredible. Im not gonna lie the format is pretty different and it really threw me off for the first two or three episodes but once I got used to it and accepted that it was just a different format i didnt mind it at all, whats more i loved it.
I think we can all agree the scene when the MFL goes and sees him on the restaurant drunk is one of the best and most heartbreaking scenes in the history of kdramas 😭

I never really understood the whole deal with telling him they were somehow connected through other acquintances but okay i accept that for the plot s sake

Overall incredibly enjoyable and one of my top 10 favourite kdramas of all time

Catchy, fun and crazy

I love everything about this show: the cast is perfect imo and the music is extremely catchy. I would even say that the music makes about thirty per cent of the show. The story is full of action, and keeps you hooked from begining to end. The characters have some really funny lines and the actors deliver them perfectly, I really think it s a show that one could rewatch and enjoy without getting bored. I just wish they had added some more romance into it maybe a few more scenes with the main female lead, I understand it s not a romance drama and sont expect it to be, but i feel like some more backstory on the romance would ve made it even better

I was expecting a different ending-SPOILERS****

****SPOILERS AHEAD***

Since the whole show deals with the value of family and understanding that your parents were also young once, I really didnt expect the ending to be so based on career "success". The main character ends up being famous but he doesnt even know how he got there, hasnt even lived through it, Also, his parents would be completely different people since their lives have been different so i wonder, wouldnt that be disappointing for the main character? how is that a happy ending? I wish they had focused more on whats important: love, family and not on materialistic stuff
