Everyone Has Some Good In Them
This series proved to be a very intriguing drama to follow. You need to allow a lot of leeway with the Sci Fi aspect of the story, but once you get around that, it really delivers a great 10 episodes filled with enjoyment. The two main characters are a perfect fit for each other in leading this group of people to safety. Yuki Yamada & Eiji Akaso form an unlikely special bond as you get deeper into each episode, and both do a great job showing it through their characters.
It was great to watch the transformation, not just the leading roles, but the entire supporting cast. The most unlikeable people that boarded that train in the early minutes of episode 1 turn out to be caring & helpful people to everyone around them.
It shows how the worst situations can bring out the best in people.
There are a few surprises along the way, which add to the mystery & suspense of the drama. The ending sort of leaves the possibility open for a season 2, but gives us the outcome we were waiting for in a round a bout way. It does indeed take it down to the final seconds of the last episode ... great ending!
As one of the characters stated "You can't change the past, but let's trust the future" ..... that definitely applies to this series.
