I'm going to be SO PISSED if they screw this up!!! The movie is a freakin' masterpiece and the synopsis already greatly differs from the concept of the original movie.

Would someone help me out a little bit, I'm on episode 4 and kinda confused. So, I'm confused because Jia Mu and An Hao's relationship isn't clear to me. Are they friends or somehow related because it's looking like their parents are the same or at least JiaMu's parents are letting her live with them or something, right? But then his mom said that they would make a good pair and if Jin Nian is his half-sibling then... why am I confused? Could someone clear this up for me, I'm just not understanding right now...
ANOTHER QUESTION. Are they supposed to be in MIDDLE SCHOOL because that's what the subtitles are saying but maybe it's just a problem with the translations? I would have assumed high school..

Another one of those with two same titles. It's really confusing. Is this a movie? A Drama? What is it?
To the left of the cover image there's a box which tells you if it's a movie or drama, how many episodes, the network where it airs, etc. Just look, if that information is available, it's always added there.
Mainly I loved the music and even the directing was pretty good but the cast just can't act at all and that really ruined the whole thing for me. It's hard to watch and enjoy a film or drama when the cast can't convince you of their characters and that characters feelings. Give it a try and decide for yourself but I suggest watching Liar and His Lover or Koizora if you want a beautifully written script, superb acting and in-depth characters in your movie.
Side note: I know this is a manga adaptation so I'm giving it some leeway but the female lead came across as not the cute type of naive but the irritatingly ignorant and lost type of female character. The male lead also came off as creepy (not charming or forward like most manga male leads but just creepy) and direct in a way that felt more stalker-like and less love-struck.. Unfortunately, the plot also failed us as an audience. It was mainly based around the characters and sorta dropped the importance of archery to the main female lead (even though they keep mentioning it, you can't see her love for archery, they keep having to remind you).. I didn't like it much and it felt really long and bland to watch the whole film. Try it out if you'd like but my opinion has been shared.

The trailer and synopsis makes it looks like this is LOOSELY based off In Time With You. I have mixed feelings about this because In Time With You is freakin' INCREDIBLE!!! Such a fantastic script and the cast was chosen PERFECTLY!! When the Korean remake was created I only watched the first episode and then dropped it due to fear it would ruin the story for me. I have since watched a scene or two on youtube and am VERY displeased. I'd kinda rather China NOT have a remake of this beautiful plot and well-developed character, the original was fantastic enough.. you can't recreate something so perfect. That said, I LOOVE LOVE LOVE Zhang Ruo Yun and am really excited to see him in another drama - another romance nonetheless!! <3 <3 <3
