Tbh, I don’t really remember exactly what/when it happened but I knew he was dying ..the doctor even told him he had like only 6mnths left but in the end he survived. I forgot how & what happened to him, need to watch it again 😁.

I think it was in Sound of the Providence he got really sick and didn’t have much time left. Probably due to smoking too much his health got worsened.

I think Zhang Nian might’ve manipulated him by taking advantage of his situation. As of now, Zhang Nian seems to be the main villian. Can’t wait for the upcoming episodes.

I’ll try to explain as much as i can. If u might’ve seen Ultimate Note we know that all of them were trying to enter the Zhang Family Old Pavilion but Xiao Ge and the team got trapped in it. The series ends in a cliffhanger (this is based on book7).
Now, in the first ep we saw Wuxie having flashbacks of him entering the Zhang Family Pavilion with PangZi to rescue XG and the others but only XG made it out alive(this is from book8 which hasnt been adapted yet). Then, XG enters the bronze gate and made the 10yrs promise. So this is when Wuxie decided to learn more about XG and the Zhang family. From the clues he got, he then started his trip to Nepal and Motuo as seen in the drama to learn more about XG’s past.
