That movie is like a spinoff I suppose, i really don’t know the timeline of this movie. Its an ok2 movie, watched it for Wuxie and ZQL😄. The beginning of the main story is Lost tomb1 which is based on book 1 of DMBJ.

Oh yes I remember now reading that part. I read the book long time ago so i have kinda forgotten certain details. ZQL did tell Pangzi something before he left which WuXie is not aware of it. I am so excited i hope we get answers in this show even though i am a bit skeptical they will tell us everyThing.

In the book, that Zhang Haixing tried to kill Wuxie if I remembered correctly when they were deep inside the mountains while also fighting against some monster or machine made creature. But its unknown how it ended as the book is unfinished. Lets see how it’s done in the show.

I think the only good Zhangs at least that I considered good would be from The Southern Archives. I heard even this is going to be adapted soon. And also, Zhang Da Foye and Zhang Rishan are good too. Yes it’s terrible having to wait for so long for these dramas to air. China produces good dramas but it takes time for post production then comes censorship again where if unlucky it might get shelved for how many yrs only God knows… too much😂

He had amnesia because he received the “Heavenly Gifts”. So as soon as they received they tend to become a different kind of person and whatever they do when they are under the influence of this so-called gifts they don’t remember anything when they become their normal self again. This is mentioned only in the book Post Restart Sequel. This book has 3parts, I read through everything but still there are a lot of things I don’t understand and its quite complicated. It is also not explain why they received this gift. Its also hinted it had something to do with their special bloodline they age slower than normal human beings but they lose their memory. This is what I understood from whatever i read..I might be wrong also hope u understand 😊.
Yes that one had a dark bg specially in the underwater tomb..i got scared almost watching that part of the series😂. This young Wuxie in TibetanSea also did very well i would love to see more of him in the upcoming episodes.
I understand it can be a bit confusing with so many seasons with different casts plus the series aren’t filmed according to the timeline. But as u have started with Ultimate Note i think u will be good 😊. If u have time u can try watching the others also

In Tibetan Sea Flower, ZQL is already behind the bronze gate so he will mostly appear only in flashback/memories of Wu Xie. They won’t have any scenes directly together and this continues even in Sand Sea(Sha Hai). So, he might have less screen time. They will reunite again the 3of them in Sound of the Providence and the bromance is good with proper screen time for XG as well in that. The thing is that ZQL is a mysterious person so he always disappear from time to time even in the books he disappears a lot sometimes he is in a different team with Wu Xie and Pangzi together and he with others. Hope this might help u understand a bit.

As far as I remember after ZQL comes out of the bronze gate the 3of them retire in Rain village and there’s a book called Notes in Rain Village u can check out. I think it was during this retirement, Reunion Sound of the Providence takes place. So, basically they went on an adventure again.
