Maybe you're right, maybe you're wrong. I don't think either one is wrong, it's life. At 20 y he got a bomb that her ex was pregnant and she decided to have the baby and go to Germany. Even if he wants to get to know his son, he has no power over that, he must ask permission to his ex, maybe his ex didn't want that, to not traumatized their child, maybe she already has a family there, after all, a dad someone that is involved and ML thought that he didn't deserve to be a father. In the end, what ML wants doesn't matter, his ex and her child opinion does.
There's no right answer. I understand your way of thinking.
