On Sisyphus: The Myth Feb 25, 2021
I'm not going to slight other people's opinions. Everyone's entitled to think and say what they like about this drama, and there's no denying that it's left itself open to a lot of criticism. However, for whatever it's worth, I'm absolutely loving the main duo and their storyline so far. I'm watching one other drama right now (Vincenzo), and between the two I look forward to this one the most. I'm not someone who needs everyone to like what I like, but I don't want anyone who might enjoy it as much as I am to miss it because of all the negative comments. No disrespect to negative comments. It's good to let people know the flaws. That way they can manage their expectations.

I wanted to watch this but judging by the comments, this drama must be a joke. I think I'll pass
I recommend that you give it a go. It's kind of ridiculous, and there are a lot of stupid things that happen, but I find the main characters carry it really well. It's somewhat filling the you know who shaped hole in my heart.

Title Stranger Spoiler
The most unexpected death is Young Eun Soo 's (Shin Hye Sun). Why she she g have to die ????? Nooooooooooo
I'm probably in the minority, but I low key shipped her with Shi Mok. I say low key because I didn't actually want much romance from this drama. I can't dispute that her death works for the plot though, and personally I didn't find it unexpected.

Now that I've said that I seriously hope the line about him being her father was just a joke.

I can't argue with the criticisms levelled at this drama, but I'm actually really enjoying it despite its flaws. Maybe because I'm not that big of an action fan it doesn't bother me that the action isn't that good. I think the promotion for this drama may have attracted the wrong audience. It remains to be seen, but I feel like this is meant to be more of a romance drama.

I'm still not over this drama. I can go a while without thinking about it, but sooner or later it hits me again. I didn't even finish it, but I've heard enough about the second half. The lift scene in particular is painful just imagining it. We want the villains to be humiliated and defeated. We don't want to see that happen to a character who carried the drama. Why did PHR do HJP so dirty after giving him so much care in the first half? By contrast, NDS is the worst written male lead I've ever come across. I'm trying hard not to hold this against NJH, but I honestly don't think I'll ever be able to watch another drama of his again.
