everybody's crying in this series has me getting serious second-hand embarrassment. its the way pat was sobbing in complete anguish and i didnt see a single tear run down that face. HE WAS SQUINTING SO HARD TO GET THE SINGLE DROP TO ROLL DOWN
i swear pat was more mature in the beginning of the series, but now he acts like he's 8 years old. theres nothing wrong with him liking stuffed animals its how they made him seem like a literal toddler whenever hes near one
i really appreciate the way jeng managed his feelings for pat given the power dynamic. ive only been looking forward to when jeng and the side characters are on the screen tbh.
jaab looks like he's too high to be there without fail every single episode, kinda love him for it.
so souta clearly accepts the confession by that preview, but im assuming deep down there might be a motive to get mahiro to feel jealous or get a reaction out of him either way souta is a dumbass. this man really thought there might be something going on between mahiro and ryu-san after hearing ryu-san's story and knowing that mahiro liked him and thinking he'd move on THAT fast??
i understand mahiro's worries, but he's literally taking souta's words and making a whole new sentence with them, LIKE NO MAHIRO HE DIDNT SAY THAT 😠he must've had to reach really far up his ass for some of the things he accuses souta of saying plus apparently knowing exactly how souta feels (HE DOESNT)
and that woman isnt any better for asking him out in when he's in a vulnerable state. either way someone is going to end up getting hurt in this situation, and its gonna be everyone to draw it out to those 12 episodes of course...
so many cliches and tropes in a single episode my heart cant do this. i thought we were better than this. its not like im saying you cant use tropes or cliches, but if people could actually try to have it make sense in their stories and not to hit that sweet sweet 12 episode mark.
the only remotely likable character in this series is ryu-san. this series started off pretty good, and without the unnecessary drama and clicheness it could've been wrapped up already. i honestly think i might just let the series finish before i watch any more episodes last friday left me frustrated by the stupidity. usually japanese bl have me hooked til the end but this one is definitely different!

Never fails to make me smile with how silly and cringe this story can be. I can already see it as being something I could come back to and rewatch. It follows a sort of typical nerd and bully story yet it somehow manages to make it feel refreshing and expand further on the trope. Both of the mcs have their own flaws, which I feel as though is something that is not commonly presented well in bl media. I'm also a big fan of the differences/contrast between the twos styles (more so the wardrobe) as well! It really adds on to the overall charm of this series, and I'm really just a big fan of Noey's retro style.
