at first it looks promising. as the plot is about if old love can reconcile and back to being loved again (that's…
I honestly can't recommend that you give this series the time of day. Just wait until the leads and secondary leads are in better series with writers who don't use a lazy miscommunication plot to drag out over 7 episodes. Not only do they actually fridge a main character, they also try to bait and switch the viewers with NC scenes to cover up the complete lack of emotional depth or growth for the lead couple. There are so many better series to watch that you would be doing yourself a disservice.
I didn't think that the kissing could get worse... and yet here we are. I miss the distraction of the thumb ring.
Oh I totally get you, I've seen lots of actors that I know CAN kiss well... but for some reason they get sabotaged by direction and editing. I often make the joke that the kissing can't be allowed to look too hot otherwise it might magically turn everyone gay.
I've slogged through EIGHT episodes and I don't know if I can waste another two hours of my life to wrap this nonsense up. If you love the main CP enough to not care about a miscommunication trope being dragged out until episode eight (despite 'the big reveal' being super obvious from at least episode four) and completely nonsensical emotional responses from the leads, then this is the show for you. Otherwise I can't honestly recommend it, and regret having spent time on this series. No shade to any of the actors, but the writing choices have left me cold.
The chemistry between the leads is okay so far, but the lack of budget to even pay an art student is depressing.... why make a character an artist if you're going to use generated slop in the show?
I feel like this show probably benefits from being binge watched because it has some pacing issues and drags in places because the focus is all over the place. Overall I quite liked the characters, and I definitely appreciated that they chose to flip the stereotypical presentation of this kind of relationship dynamic. Series would have been improved by more focus on their developing relationship (basically just lots of minor changes would have made a huge difference) but I enjoyed watching it. As is often the case with these things, I would have liked the story arc to have peaked a little earlier and then had an episode of them being in their serious boyfriend era.
I dont understand what u didn't understand. It's pretty straightforward. Unless you read the comments and decided…
The constant and deliberate sticking to the miscommunication trope is the only bad thing about the drama. I hate Akin's character at this point for continuously refusing to have an adult conversation. Than deserves better. The back and forth with the flashbacks (some of which have no date) is probably confusing some people, as well as the storyline not really making sense because Than has the most golden retriever energy and it just does not compute why Akin is shown consistently being either jealous or doubting him.
