Wow, no way! See, that’s what I can never understand 🤔 well, thank god she changed her mind! If I wanted to see real life, I would just turn on the news 🙄

That’s exactly what I expect if I read or watch a drama, and I just feel so puzzled and flustered when it’s a bad ending. Like, how much do you hate your character you introduced to me as a nice and lovable person? Where’s the logic? I know real life isn’t logical and can do you dirty like that, but that’s why I want to have some logical escape, not a real life doppelgänger, thank you very much 🙄

I could never be an author of a drama - I would love and spoil my characters to no end, like kids, so I could never come up with any dramatic events for them 😍

Oh, thank god, I really want to watch it then! As great as Teddy Bear was, I was put off by the ending - what kind of cruel and unusual punishment is that for Teddy??? Oh well, at least, this one will be happy end! Thank you for letting me know! 😊
It certainly is sad, but for all I know (again, from their interview) is that they filmed tigers separately in the “park” (a zoo probably), so I really don’t think anyone would let Yoon get close to a real tiger, let alone pet him. At least, that’s my theory and I’m sticking to it! 😉

I painfully went through all of them except for the last one - I normally don’t drop series, but I just couldn’t anymore 😣 I know Peak (the director) is very young (21), but being a pro actor (BL including) he really should have known better - just my opinion. And I do like him very much as an actor!

And I think the actors are good, but they can only do so much without proper direction. I wish they had a better director who would arrange for multiple workshops with experts in BDSM “choreography”, and I wish they went by the novel, which doesn’t have Cherry character at all. Nothing against the actress, but the character is just annoying and doesn’t make sense to me.

It still might be pretty popular because of a new sub-genre - mafia plus claim to BDSM. I’m saying “claim” because it was executed sloppily, and I think it’s a director’s fault. In their interview, actors said they didn’t have workshops, they filmed that infamous first bed scene on their first day of filming, their “directions” being along the lines of “here’s some privacy for you, go do it” 😳 No wonder, the result is what it is 🤦♀️ Also, Yoon and Ton have a massive fan base, so they would be watched even if they were reading an Oishe tea catalog.
I think this is a good example of good cast/actors and bad script, I'm only going to continue watching for Boun…
I think they had to “arrange the room” so that they can use 18+ rating. It’s been 5 episodes, and I haven’t seen anything that would deserve the 18+ rating so far. With only one episode left, I don’t expect anything earth-shattering in that department at this point.

I agree - I am very hopeful for BLs becoming more versatile plot-wise. There should be as many sub-genre possibilities as with hetero dramas, and I see it starts to pick up the idea :) We’ve had some fantasy, some slice of life, some mafia plots. Looks like we’ll have some “armageddon” kind too! I would love to see some crime/procedural/mystery btw :) I liked The Manner of Death and would like to see more. Triage kind of had a hint of crime so I hope they’ll make the third installment to delve deeper into it. Sorry for rambling :)

Yes, thank you for reminding me of Namu - I really liked her character as well. Of course, Not Me is not a typical BL in many aspects, one of them being a well written self-respecting female character 😍

Kim - I want to go to the pub with you.
Kamol - no, it’s too dangerous.
Kim - but I wanna…
Kamol - OK 🤦♀️
At the pub:
Kim - why is our bodyguard not drinking?
Me - Kim, darling, you obviously haven’t seen KinnPorsche… 🤦♀️
