Yes, I agree. Also, yesterday’s episode of My Secret Love had Pam, who accepted Mek’s inability for a long distance relationship with grace (at least, for now - the series is not over yet). But it really made my evening last night. Finally, a sane character, and a female in a BL world on top of that!!! 🥳

You know, I would love to see a character who would respond to “I don’t love you anymore” with “Oh, ok, cool, have a good life, bye” and move on to a better match without a bout of hysteria and useless attempts at manipulation.
Of course, then the writers would actually have to come up with a real plot, so I guess it will never happen. Oh well… 🥺

The funniest thing is - according to someone who read the novel, there’s NO GIRL in the novel! 🤣 So why, why, why did they make this stupid addition? Now, I have nothing against the actress - she’s absolutely gorgeous and a wonderful actress. But plot-wise, seriously, whose bright idea was it? 🤦‍♀️

Honestly, I would rather have all male cast if they can only portrait women as total morons with no common sense. At least having a bitchy cute guy fighting for the ML’s affection is logical given that ML is GAY.
Having a girl for this part makes sense if ML is Bi or hetero or pan or whatever that might look favorably at a woman. But please, what actual woman would be so dumb to keep going for a gay man??? He will NEVER be interested, so what’s the point? Waste of screen time 😣

He tells his mother that he sees the doctor regularly and takes meds, but why do I have a feeling that he’s lying? Fluke is an excellent actor, so if I get this feeling he probably wants to express it this way… I guess we’ll see :)

There’s probably some treasure or whatever at the villa, and that highly suspicious lady who wants to buy the villa is fully aware of it. I totally agree. Mark is being waaay too “mature” about it. He really must be a love guru as I am in my 40s, and if someone said it to me it wouldn’t finish with just one punch and apologies 😈 It would be the end of the relationship.

Thank god it’s a quote! 🤣 Thinking about it, I have heard this phrase in one of bl’s and it was cringy to me then, too. I mean, maybe it’s just a cultural norm, but to me it just doesn’t sound right to call a man “wife”. The show is great, though!
