Wow! How did the rating get so high? I gave up after the first few episodes so I wonder if I should give it another…
I wasn’t going to watch this bc LYN isn’t my fave. but I think this drama really secured his foothold in the cdrama industry and I find myself slowly maybe becoming a fan. I think you’re totes right that the chemistry could have been better but the good writing and the actors’ respective acting skills kinda made up for it. sometimes it isn’t even the chemistry, it could be as simple as the visuals just look a bit off (which is actually how I felt in this drama)
tbh the middle got rather boring for me. I’m like wut. why this a 9 but then I kept at it and this drama is the first in a long time that actually was good until the end. it even got better towards the end imo, much more riveting. give it another shot! even if it means you’re kinda half watching in the middle which was what I was doing
finished this drama for the second time. weird because its a good ending but its just not satisfying. I don’t think he should have returned in the same garb for some reason. I feel like he should have came back wearing maybe white or plain black? it’s odd that he pops back in like no time has passed. no weakness upon reentry into the immortal realm. same age, same look, same clothes. it’s a bit jarring, as if he was just playing hide and seek. we want a good ending but lawd, not like this. I think if he ended up being comatose AND THEN *500 years pass* and then he wakes up would have been a better segway for his return. sigh. still a great drama though.
this was totally DYLANS DRAMA. he killed it. his delivery, his expressions, his demeanor. excellent job and kudos to him
🍉 CHANGE FL?TV Series #剑来/ #JianLai/ #TheOne by author Feng Huo Xi Zhu Hou (Sword Snow Stride), plan to…
how exciting that WL may be casted in another costume drama! had no idea this was even on the horizon. I do hope it’s a diff female lead though. she’s cute and all but she just ain’t my fave. tian xi Wei would be good. id also love to see him with zhang rou nan
whaaatttt. we got YY, arguably the best kisser in the cdrama sphere and ZRN just came out of First Frost serving nothing but romantic vibes and we are not getting romance from this stellar combo?!?
I swear. I couldn't finish the series because of it. The way the male lead looks at the female lead is so cringy…
I don’t know what came over me when I watched this drama but I was eating out of the palm of its hand. but now I try and go back and rewatch and it’s a total cringefest.
