"has no right to talk about it" do you hear how crazy you sound? she directly rejected Hou many times through different actions but he was too stubborn to move on. 1) she spent most of her time with Xiao Sun and never asked Hou to hangout, 2) she sent all of her texts except one to Xiao Sun, 3) she had all of her breakfasts with Xiao Sun after meeting him, 4) she picked Xiao Sun for the game day in front of Hou. she made it very clear who her pick was and Hou chose to ignore it. Zeng is smart bc he asked her directly and accepted her answer and moved on quickly. Hou never asked her and ignored all of the hints she sent to him through her actions. Do you also believe Lucky was leading on Da qi bc she never verbally rejected him or are you just biased towards Xiao Hou?

Hou was the one who went looking for Xiao Hou to give her an invitation (she never looked for him) and she responded by giving him her Day 2 invitation which should have been another signal that she did not care for him... she obviously can't say no to his invitation bc that would be rude and she would get so much hate online like use your brain (no one else on the show said no to an invitation either)

even if momo's twin didn't leave, both would have still joined bc in episode 1 there were two empty spaces on the screen

i agree that after her gap year ends, there will definitely be a change in the relationship dynamic. if they manage to stay together after that shift then i think they'll last a long time

William and Yiyi broke up pretty soon after the show (Yiyi said that she was immature and did some "inappropriate" things that hurt William. The break up seems messy because they've both unfollowed each other on weibo and instagram)

Zeng and Lucky are still together (they've posted a few mini vlogs)

Xiao Sun and Xiao Hou are still together (they're the couple that have been spotted outside hanging out together the most and they recently celebrated her birthday together along with a bunch of the other cast members like junjun, momo, jojo, william, and luke. they've also posted a few mini vlogs)

Hou and Ruqing are still together (they post a lot of curated couple content of them kissing and of their couple photoshoots)

this drama was actually announced first and started filming 1 month before police university but was released later bc they had to wait for disney+ to launch in south korea (so there was no way for them to copy)

i think her commitment thing has to do with the phase of life she's in (she seems uncertain of a lot of things in regards to her future) but it's been 3 months since the end of the show and they're still going strong so i hope they make it much longer, i personally think they're the most compatible

Hou was the one that told Ruqing he jumped into the river (not Siyi), Ruqing then shared it with Zeng and Zhang. why is Siyi shady for doing the same thing that Hou and Ruqing are doing?

how did she lead on Hou? she never gave him gifts like she did with Xiao Sun and she never asked him to hangout first. all she did was accept his gifts and the date invitation which is understandable bc she didn't want to be rude and embarrass him on tv (lucky did the same thing with da qi but no one says she was leading him on). why would she keep details of the date a secret when Xiao Sun is going to see it on TV anyways? lol that doesn't make sense and Hou immediately told the girl who liked him that he jumped into the river so he was sharing details too

also, other little things like seunghyun saying his wish is that he can watch the sunrise with eungang next year and the year after that + eungang crying so hard during the ceremony makes me think that it could be seunghyun that dies

the biggest plot twist would be if seunghyun is the one that dies, i don't think i've seen a youth drama where the lead dies but it'd be a good twist

he said somewhere that the call time for the drama was always 5AM so I'm sure he barely got any sleep especially towards the end bc he was also shooting for Street Woman Fighter which one of the dancers said had like 12-hour shooting days, the puffy face is just a result of the minimal sleep
