this drama is not the best & a little cliche but i can't stop watching. it's very addicting and has good pacing. also the leads are so cute. i love their bickering relationship. now i can't wait for the next episode T___T

when we purchase VIP, are the episodes (17-22) raw or do they come subbed?

this is such a cute and sweet drama. the fl and ml characters were so well written. both are mature and cute at the same time. i really like how the female lead is super cute but also mature and wise. they both have their flaws but they work so well together. it's so rare to find a drama with such a supportive and loving relationship. i also love the bromance between zhou chuan and jiang yu chen. i wasn't interested in the sml/sfml relationship so i skipped most of their scenes. overall the drama is a little bit draggy but skipping some scenes definitely helped the pace a lot. i like how the drama has a lot of grey area characters that aren't necessary pure evil and all have their own problems to deal with. a very refreshing and cute drama that i will miss watching for sure!

i feel worried for him every time he carries her because he looks so thin/fragile haha. i hope he's at a healthy weight.

WTLOG is one of my favorite chinese drama. It's kinda underrated so it's hard to find someone that has watched it. I'm glad I saw this article and now I'm definitely interested in watching this drama!

I'm just starting to watch this drama, but I'm pleasantly surprised. They actually wrote a cute FML character that isn't willing to take BS. She knows right from wrong, is smart, and isn't willing to do other people's work for them. So far, I'm really liking her character!

totally! ah i know what you mean about not wanting to finish it before the drama finishes. i also thought the same but got tempted haha. me too! i used to fangirl over how cute kdrama relationships were when i was young. honestly, now that i'm a little older than before, there's so many kdramas with couples that have toxic relationships. some of them have super manipulative ml or fl or borderline stalkerish relationships. i'm glad that it is starting to change a little bit and i hope they continue to do so!

i agree with this. people are usually quick to jump in and blame the fml for everything in kdramas. nabi just broke out of a toxic relationship and needed healing but obviously met the wrong guy for it. in addition, she didn't have a proper role model figure to give her proper advice. she didn't make the smartest decisions, but she wasn't surrounded by good people at all. it's definitely not an environment that a person who just got out of a toxic manipulative relationship should be in. i'm not sure if you read till the end, but this webtoon is really realistic and i wish i could find another like it.

i wouldn't describe the FL as exactly awkward and shy. she's a really realistic character. the story won't be cliche if they do decide to follow the original webtoon.

It's definitely not an adaption of DOTS as the novel was written before DOTS came about. The only thing similar so far is the profession of the leads.

I was really enjoying this drama until episode 6. Tang San could've handle the problem in a much smarter way than just brute forcing his spirit against the cage??? Also I don't get why most wuxias always have to dumb down the FL lead.. I watched this drama for Xiao Zhan but I'm kinda sad now.
