Article J-Drama Food
Lovely article, I'll start saving up for the peaches right away!

What about Gapdong or Hard Nut? Hard Nut especially is such an underrated drama, I really hope they have a season…
I completely agree about Hard Nut. It was so refreshing, engaging and suspenseful that I was flung out of my previous drama-slumb and went straight into a crazy drama-high. I'm clinging to the hope of a second season.

Title Hard Nut! Spoiler
The is a definite space for a 2nd season.. they did explain a lot in the final episode but that feels like too…
I agree, there was simply too much which was left unfinished. I only have little experience with Kora Kengo, but he blew me away with this one. :)

Title Hard Nut!
My heart stopped when I went to watch the 9th episode and realized that there wasn't any! This was way too sudden, I am not ready to let go of this drama yet!

I enjoyed watching the remake (despite being very skeptical at first) mainly because I found the actors' different interpretation of the characters interesting. Though Ikuta Toma's Nakatsu is gold, I found Miura Shohei's version of the character interesting as well, because he did not try to be Toma's Nakatsu but his own. The same goes for Yanagishita Tomo and Tokuyama Hidenori.

I just returned from a seriously (seriously!) huge dinner, logged on MDL, naively decided to read this article and suddenly found myself drooling despite being so full that I can only breath with one lung at a time. Japanese food is just that awfully wonderful.

While knowing nothing about fashion and fearing the wrath of people who do I must proclaim my love for men in all black (= Yoochun)! But I loved the theme of the article, it was interesting to see something entirely different.

Great article! I honestly don't know why I keep cheering for second leads. They are doomed to lonely female-lead-less nights from the beginning anyway.

I forgot to tell you that your choice as Kame for Remus is perfect when considering the Bem role as a whole. Bem…
I completely agree. I think Kame would handle the turning to a werewolf thing very well considering his role as Bem. (And I want to see him as a professor giving Miura Haruma private lessons).

Awesome article. I love the fact that though plotlines are often similar, the themes in dramas can be very different (gymnastics, fire fighters, wine, intersexuality, boxing, a funeral parlour) and though they don't only apply to the Asian culture, sometimes you are presented with the Asian way of handling things and sometimes you just experience something new and interesting and get some awesome random knowledge that you can amuse yourself and (sadly not so often) your friends with.
