Totally agree with you. This version feels so rushed and the story has too many holes in it. They rush and skip many scenes and kept dragging on some. I watched all F4 versions (even read the manga and watched the anime), and I have to say this version is one of the worst in my opinion. It could’ve been one of the best but the director just completely ruin it. The drama just went downhill as time goes by. I thought I was watching “thyme and his friends” not F4. It’s true that Thyme is the main character, and his and Gorya’ love is the main thing. But it’s not an F1 drama- it’s F4. Other version all the other characters gets good story/character development and have lots of screen time. Lastly in all other versions 2nd lead couple was very famous-especially the Korean one. This version I can just look away for a sec and their scene together is over. They could’ve been a very popular couple. But the director just did them dirty. Overall this drama is not bad but it’s not good either. 6.5/10

It’s funny how you said “You all know that Xu Kai became very popular after two dramas with Bai Lu” and that it’s fact. Yeah false fact! He did not become famous because of the legend and the military one. He became famous after acting in Yanxi palace.(a drama that have WJY). Also even if you like bai lu and Xu Kai together you shouldn’t talk negative things about other actress. I watched DOTSE and really enjoyed it a lot. I think Kai and jiayi makes a cute couple. You know instead of helping Bai lu gaining more fans, you’re making her gaining more hate. It’s good to brag about your opt but the way you’re doing it is very annoying and you even offended other actresses which will also offends their fans. You’re not helping your opt at all.

If they did not end on bad term then that’s good. And yeah I feel like there should be limits to of how much you ship an actor and actress. Fan should not be too obsessive.

Every person has their own preference. So I totally understand. To me I think Kai and Jiayi are a very cute couple. The reason why I ship was from watching DOTSE. And yeah it’s kinda sad that Bai Lu and Kai ended in bad terms since they were close friends.

I really like Xu Kai and Wu Jiayi. I think they make a very cute couple. I hope they date in real life and act in more dramas together!

I’m actually glad that Bai Lu was pulled out of this project. To be honest I like Xu Kai with Wu Jiayi. I think they make a very cute couple. I also don’t think Bai Lu will ever be paired with Kai anymore since they both unfollowed each other on Weibo. (That’s also the reason why Bai Lu got pulled out of this project)
