Hahaha I have to admit the rumors work in my favor because those are also couples I ship 😊
Episode 3 shows things moving along nicely for Qieyue and Xiaoxuan and also for Enen and Xiaoxin (communication is key 😁) And for Yuyu x Yiyang shippers, finally a first real connection 😊

Honestly Heart Signal 8 was a lesson for me when it comes to rumors, there were so many that it sparked fan wars especially when reality didn’t match expectations, even on this site which is much calmer than everywhere else (one of the reasons I love coming here to read comments) so that’s also why I say enjoy the show and don’t rely too much on rumors so you won’t be too disappointed if it doesn’t happen 😊

I completely agree with what you’re saying and feeling since there’s only one episode per week and there hasn’t been much relationship development yet, of course it’s normal to be curious and play detective 😁 (I think they’re right too). Just like you, I support everyone and I hope this adventure is a good memory even for those who don’t end up together 😊.
What I’m criticizing isn’t trying to figure out the couples in advance, it’s rumors that can harm people without being verified. For example with the clip of Jason crying, some people started saying it was because Qi Yue rejected him so now some are doubting his connection with Enen but watching episodes so far nothing suggests he’s attracted to Qi Yue to the point of crying. That’s why I say be careful with certain rumors and just enjoy the show, because some will be true and some won’t so it’s better to also go off what we actually see and not judge too quickly 😊

Honestly the rumors are basically built on video clip analysis, mainly the contestants’ introductions, that’s how people figured out the couples before anything was confirmed. That’s why the Yiyang x Yuyu ship is popular even though they haven’t had any real interactions, which is kind of paradoxical (it shows that a big part of the audience isn’t going off the actual episodes but off rumors)

I agree with you, they barely know each other, so of course things are gonna change or at least look like they’re changing (this season feels super edited anyway), but what I don’t get is the comment section though, how can people they don’t even know (not friends, not family), spark that much conflict and have such an impact on your mood.

Unfortunately, it seems like production has decided to make this season more dramatic. In the extra videos outside the main episodes, you can see that the cast actually get along and have a lot of fun together.
It’s just production assuming that drama is what most people want, when in reality a lot of viewers watch this kind of show just to relax.

I understand what you’re saying: because the couples feel uncertain, it can seem like none of them will be solid after the show. That’s why we should hope things become clearer within at most two episodes, so we can form a better opinion. When I talked about how hard it is to predict how long a couple will last, I wasn’t only talking about this show but other dating shows too. I’ve actually been quite surprised by how well some couples work out outside the show.
We’re just the audience anyway, so like you said, let’s just sit back and see what happens lol.

Either way, it’s going to be a choice from the heart. You like Ailin, so you hope it’s her; others like Yuan, so they hope it’s her, but in the end, only one who truly knows his feelings is Lechen.

I wouldn’t bet on how long the couples will last, on shows like this we’ve seen it all: solid couples breaking up quickly and the opposite too, but I agree with you on the rest, they’re just humans with strengths and flaws, different personalities (extroverted, introverted, direct, patient…), and none of them seem like bad people.
We also have to remember the editing makes things look more dramatic and uncertain to get a reaction from viewers.
