Just finished it and I’m so glad I watched it. Maybe if the romantic relationship hadn’t been censored, the show could be even better. For me the bromance and deep loyalty from Lan Zhan to WWX was just perfect. All the actors did a great job and even more the main leads. They were so different: completely polar opposites.
The story was great, complicated, full of twist and subplots. At one point I fully believed that WWX would form his own clan with the people at the burial mountain, but then it all changed so quickly. So many characters died and I thought is was an accident, an unfortunate one. Fast-forward 16 years and I’m glad Lan Zhan saved the kid and the real culprit is caught.
I don’t think I can forget these characters. We need a second season, a movie, something to bring this characters back to life again. I can’t believe the actor who played WWX is older than many of the other actors that played characters contemporary to WWX.
I hate it when I finish a really good show. This one is one of the best I’ve seen.
It was really good. Idk why all series are called dramas? This was so fun to watch, great acting, chemistry, and so many funny scenes. We need more shows like this one.
Wei Ying Needs to kick some butt. I’m on ep 27, someone please tell me his gonna fight some of these arrogant characters. How can they call him arrogant when they are all full of themselves.

Also, this show wasn’t without flaws but at the same time it was really good. I was worried for the last couple of episodes but it really delivered. Also Vee is adorable and Mark is incredibly sexy. So much chemistry!!!!
I keep checking for a new episode on Saturdays and the disappointment when I realize it’s not going to air until Sunday is soul crushing 🥲🥲. I need a new ep now !!

Last ep was so funny. I love it when they speak English. The actor who plays Mikheal with a K has become so charismatic.
Maybe there’s 14 eps instead of just 12. 😊
