In every series jeff is in, he ends up heartbroken, okay Ingredients isn't a totaly sad ending but still, why can't we see him happy for once? I really need to see him in a nice happy relationship but an alien and a human doesn't sound promising. But I'll keep hoping for a miracle to happen!
After seeing the rating and all these comments I was hesitant to watch it and had it on hold since the series ended BUT if you don't have high hopes it's much better than expected! I loved the secondary couples and really wanted to see them more. My only problem was the intimate scenes of the main couple because it seemed a little weird, but that was probably because, if I'm not mistaken, it was their first project.
Just finished binge watching it in 3 days. In my opinion it had the potential to be one of the best BL of the year but it failed. It was cute if you want a bubbly series to watch without too much drama especially after watching 3 dramas in the row making me cry too much (although they were really good) but I think at some point it lost its plot. We never learned what happened with one of the secondary couples (if I can call them like that since we never saw them getting together or at least implying it) and most importantly for me there wasn't an end with the problem with Ai's mother. Moreover I don't like it when the plot of the parent stories is changed. In Tonhon Chonlatee series, Ton didn't know about the relationship between AiNai, he learned about it later when they told him to help him accept his feeling, but here everyone learned about it almost from the start. So after watching the last episode, you are feeling that something is missing, it doesn't feel like it was the last one, you still expect something to happen. To be honest I started watching it having high hopes and after the appearance of Ai's mother, I was sure I'll rate the show with over 9 but now I did a favour to it by giving an 8, debating myself if I should rate it lower.
Well... I never leave comments but this series was so weird that made me to. I had read some comments before starting it so I didn't have many expectations and i could say that as a story it was pretty good and I'd probably gave it a 9 but I end up giving it a 6 because there were some parts that was really WTF. Sometimes I really couldn't understand why some parts even existed like the part with the washing machine and what was going on with Porpla and her minions were they some kind of ghosts or magicians appearing and disappearing whenever or with Nott that appeared so many things from his pockets (yeah I know he gave an explanation on how he did it but he definitely has to tell me what did he do cause I need it with my own bag). And even though things got better and I got used to the magic things they did then comes the end with a spaceship, really now!! I never drop a series but this time I really wanted to and if the actors weren't that cute I'd probably would. And as for the end I really believe that they should have finished it here, it didn't need a second season as the were planning or the special episodes.
