Superb performance by Aff. Really astonished by how effortlessly she moved between icy composure and furious rage. The plot and story are quite straightforward--starting out as a typical tale of revenge before it becomes something more complex. Although you can guess what happened and what's coming, the show never stops being interesting. Not really a drama you want to watch more than once (it's too intense and nail bitey for that), but you'll be glad to have seen it once.
Lakorns are always lakorns, but this one (out of Anne's studio) is a showcase of lakorns when they're at their best.
I have my finger hovering over the play button to start the drama. I'm hesitating because I think I've read that there will be a 2nd season and that that season won't start for months, possibly up to a year.
Could season 1 be considered complete if I can't watch season 2, or would it be better to wait so that both seasons can be watched at the same time?
There were quite a few good kisses in this, and Lee Junho is always a pleasure to watch and listen to, but otherwise--show is very bland, and there was so much blatant PPL, it was liking watching an extended Christmas Lotte ad.
The single question I have at the moment is, how does Vin Zhang--whose face is easily as recognizable as Yang Yang's, not show up until way far down in the cast credits here at MDL?
This was much better than I expected it to be. The final episodes were a bit steamy, which was a delightful surprise. Show is quite lovely from beginning to end, free of melodrama, miscommunication and angst. The actors were convincingly comfortable with each other. Definitely a grade above the average high school romance.
The writers made Yeon Dope a noble idiot, and this week, they made her an idiot for real. This girl is too stupid to live. No new mother with a quarter ounce of common sense gets in a car with their sick baby, especially when the driver/passenger refuses to say where they're going. Why have the writers turned the mother in law into an unstable lunatic, and turned Yeon Doo into a weeping idiot? The writers took a perfectly lovely drama set up, and ran it through a the wood chipper.
It was ok for me I wont blame the dramaI think im just too old for high school drama or i watched too many Which…
I must be over this genre, because although I can see that this drama was quite lovely, it just bored me to death. I found myself FF through most episodes, trying to find the "there" there, but nope.
I really hope the women have the upper hand by the end of the series otherwise I’ll be writing some strongly…
Whenever I watch a Thai show, I grade it on a curve, because it's a Thai show. Even at their best, the misogyny is baked in a Thai show. If you don't lower your standards, they're unwatchable. Sometimes, the rare show will pull a rabbit out of a hat, but that isn't going to happen in this one. Prepare for some great looking people to do some super ethically challenged things, and for the women to smile like they like it.
You can watch anything on their site. (Old dramas, however, have been moved to Telegram, linked at LP site.)
Before you subscribe, you can check to see if the dramas you want to watch are there.

Anyone else have thoughts about this?
