Honestly, I was looking forward to watching this, but I watched 20 minutes of the first episode, and I was so bored and tired of the plot already, my eyes rolled up in in my head high enough to see my own brains.
Excited to have just now learned that the author of "Love Like the Galaxy" also wrote "The Story of Ming Lan" (one of my top 10 dramas of all time, and certainly my top Cdrama.)
I'm going to wait until all the episodes are subbed because I'm an impatient type, but it's getting harder to wait, based on how much you all like this.
Whew. I was worried that the writer was going to give us an ending that ruined the drama, but it didn't happen, and that alone makes the show way above average. You can relax and simply delight in how happy the drama makes you feel, and that's a lot to get.
Probably won't be a lot like Alcott's "Little Women", and we'll probably enjoy it more if we don't cling to an idea that it will have much to do with the original. That's my plan, anyway. (I'm remembering how excited I was when I first heard that "Tempted" was inspired by "Dangerous Liasons", and you guys know how little that turned out to be.)
Welp. It's the last part of the show, and it wouldn't be a Kdrama if the writer didn't pull out the villains. Even so, I'm a little pissed that the writer is taking a show that's made me grin for 11 episodes into a direction where I'm afraid to watch episode 12 - 16 because Woo Young and her endearing love might be hurt in some way, even a little.
I hope the writer knows that if they allow Min Woo and Woo Young's not-quite-there-yet-but-maybe-horrible mother to ruin the vibe of the show, they'll need to leave S. Korea because people will hate them that hard.
I just can't get past episode 11. I decided to get over that, and skipped to the back end to watch the last episode. About a third of the way, my eyes rolled back in my head and I was afraid I was ded. I'm just going to call this a fail and give up.
Btw, wtf was FL's mom suggesting? If you want to become an attorney in another country you will have to study…
I think FL's mom will try harder to get rid of them, but I don't think the writer is going to lean on this idea very hard--and even if the mom tries, too many people have the FL's back.
Pity. I would like to have seen what people thought were the most amazing dramas of 2022.

That's all I have to say on this, I guess.
