I am trying to identify what it is, that makes me so disconnected with this drama. Like its visually stunning and the acting isnt bad but something about it just feels so empty and flat? Like the chemistry between OffGun isnt chemistrying? Idunno. I have to agree that i dont understand why Koh fell for Jira, and the fact that Jira isnt particulary likeable doesn´t help.
In good way (the brothers are so dramatic, why did you undress him Fadel? Why the hell did Bison get wholeass boat) and in bad way (the music did NOT match with the scenes. We KNOW that Bison isn't being lovely-dovey with Kant, why is the wholesome piano track on????). The plot is sometimes like a car with squares for wheels. Istg.
FirstKhao and JoongDunk (their acting and commitment) are carying the show. I have to metion Dunk especialy. And i love FadelStyle, they just work.
However, how much i try to see KantBison as romantic couple i just... can't. Can somebody explain? Cause here is the thing - Bison imagined three very brutal ways of how to unalive Kant, Kant up until now didn't show many signs of his feelings changing. His unwillingness to continue was caused more out of concern for his own life, and the captain asking more than he first promised. As far as we know, all of their moments shared together were fake.
I can feel in my bones that this show is gonna fall off in the second half (I really don't want it to, tho). There is lot to do (The Mother plot, The Captain Plot, The murder of the parents plot) and i worry that instead of doing that, we will have some rushed make up scenes and external out of nowhere plot devices. So I will sit and prevail and hope i am wrong.
i have a bone to pick. What was the point of Kant getting caught on the CCTV cameras if it didn´t matter at all? Like sure, it still can come up later but the gravity of that moment was stolen away by the last scene of this episode? And what was with the time skip, that was so confusing.
I genuienly think that all of the four leads are acting their souls out and that saves A LOT of this show´s messines and... how to put it, undercooked-ness (if that´s even a word). And i also have hard time comprehending the writing of this show, tone wise i am not really sure where it stands. I am leaning more towards comedy, right? But at the same time some of the psychology and drama in this show is kinda dark? Like Fadel probs knows what is going on, which makes his dynamic with Style interesting, Kant is clearly scared yet he kinda shoves it into his subconsciousness and pretends he can handle it (that scene when bison points his gun at him was great show not tell, i am not really used to it in GMMTV series.)
So sometimes the writing is very smart and sometimes it´s so on the nose i can´t believe i am watching the same show. Anyhow, both couples are great but i have a sneaking suspicion that one couple (cough cough FadelStyle) will handle the reveal better than the other.
I really enjoyed this episode even tho i feel like some things are kinda rushed (Both Fadel and Bison folded so quickly lol) I hope it's because some great plot awaits us.
I loved Bison stading up for himself more, it goes to show that he isn't naive but very perceptive and smart. He wants to believe something good is happening to him for once. (And I can't belive the good character work i am witnessing.) Also, imagine being Style. I was afraid the show wasn't gonna acknowledge the fact he has been obliviously irritating a guy that kills people for living, but it did and it was priceless. I like the show also acknowledging that the brothers are actually very dangerous and their past and profession matters to their characters.

It's crazy 'cause this is the first episode with no action and it was significantly better than whatever the hell was happening five eps prior? Just... how is this possible? The writing, dialog, themes, scenes... everything was so smooth. This show heavily relied on YinWar's acting skills to pull it out of BL hell. I wouldn't be watching if it weren't for them. Seriously this show made my hair turn grey with the nonsense it was pulling UP UNTIL NOW. Sand cause he kinda manipulated Rey into telling Mew and unleashed this shitstorm (and now he sees the consequences of his own actions in Rey/Mew. There was no need for the filler episodes, when they had all of this (Kang falls in love with Pimfah bc that's what is expected of him, Sailom thinks that Kang doesn't like him back, Pimfah likes Sailom's bravery and wits and that's why she might have told Kang's grandmother the truth about the video) and we could see it simmer and boil for more than one episode. Show me that Kang struggles with heteronormativity for more than ten minutes, make me sympathize with this asshole, come on!
Now for the kiss, idk if it was intentional (and I hope for the sake of this show that it was) but they are highschoolers. They are supposed to kiss like that. I would be WAY more concerned if they started full on making out, cause that would just be weird (or felt like pure fanservice).

Boston is manipulative prick but as said before, he is at least honest about it (still a bitch tho, and for real, my guy keeps getting recorded without his permission and i feel kinda bad for him) Nick did a disgusting thing but i think he acted on his emotions and now he seems to regret it. So i am kinda rooting for them
Top and Mew now i am confused by them so much. Somehow i dont buy them? I genuinely think that Top likes Mew and if he was honest about sleeping with Boston they would be fine i think. I want Mew to be a good guy, cause otherwise it's so cliché . The drama broke him and now he is joing the dark side. The way he revealed the tea to Top was so evil and out of character for him. It genuinely scared me. But Top kinda deserved it ngl.
Sand and Rey I... I... SAND CONFESSED AND REY CALLED HIM A WHORE? That wasnt on my bingo card. Rey kinda pissed me off this episode cause I was so embarrassed for him and wished that somebody took the mic from him. At the same time Sand is to blame for this as well, like what was he trying to achive by telling Rey. Like what was your goal bestie.
I like how the writers involved everyone into the MewxBostonxTop drama. It really came full circle.
Last but not least, the sapphics showed us how is it done. Cheum and her gf talked, promised to be honest and communicated in a healthy way. So proud of my lesbians. Everyone elese take notes.

Instead of developing your two main charcters (which is already pretty hard, cause they make very little sense together) you throw in unnecessary love triangle in which Pimfah never shown even remote interest in Sailom.
The characters have actually very little to do when you think about it (you know, when they could adress the bullying.) and this was actually a filler episode...
I still have slither of hope for PerthChimon, because I actually think that they do have chemistry. It's this show that makes it look so wierd.
