Great movie except for a few misses here and there. Firstly, the undercover stunt was a little stupid. What if he took her somewhere else? Why were there no officers stationed inside the house incase he got in? Why did she open the door instead of looking outside the window? Secondly, during the fight scene, why was she not helping the cop from the get-go? He was clearly being overpowered and she was obviously the next in line if the cop died. And lastly, they just forgot about the dead manager in her house. No mention whatsoever about why he was even at her house in the first place. Plus, why did she not report him the first time he tried to force his way into her house?
Boring. They were trying too hard to be funny but it just didn't land. This is the second time I've watched Lee Je Hoon's work and I'm just as disappointed as the first time. His character felt too forced like he was cosplaying similar characters. And I could not stand the younger sister.
I got duped by the reviews. It's an original story with a few plot holes. The worst bit though was the comedy. It was too childish and it felt like they were trying too much.
Complete waste of my time. I guess the wigs were to show that 4 years had passed but they just looked bad. On the bright side, they didn't put the wigs on the kids. Also, Captain Seo's hair was well-made and too perfect it annoyed me. It made no sense! Plus, why was the mother's teeth crazy white! Moreover, their reaction times were too slow and the crappy graphics ruined the action parts. It was the little things like these that took away from the story. The climax was outright messy. I understood what they were doing but the result was underwhelming to say the least. Overall, it just felt too contrived and I could not get into the movie from start to finish.
is boston objectively a horrible person ? maybe.... but there is never a boring scene with boston in it. that…
I was more upset about what he did to Nick than his own friend Mew (maybe because I hate Mew). but that being said, as much as I loved Nick, I couldn't bring myself to hate Boston even with everything he did.
yeah, I get what you mean. but I'm glad it was established couples because my heart wouldn't have been able to handle trying to keep track of my ships.
First few episodes: I was all for the messiness...it had me glued to the screen! Halfway episodes: hot mess! Why? just why? Last episodes: such a drag! it couldn't have ended sooner.
Overall, it wasn't bad but it could have been way better.
I don’t know if it’s the way Book played Mew or if that was how Mew was supposed to come across as, but his…
His character irked me to the core. I had to ask myself if I would have been able to stomach Mew had he been played by another actor. I was not expecting great acting from Book but he is the main reason I'm not rating this higher. I just wish we could have had more scenes from everyone else expect him.
It’s not very eventful to be honest.I liked the acting, but I didn't connect with the characters like I have…
This is exactly what I felt watching the drama. I wanted to watch Our Blues right after this one but I guess its too soon for another long melodrama especially after this one failed to deliver.
Not my typical genre or story but it was not that bad for what it was. I would have dropped it had the cast not delivered. The drama started very slow and I thought it would pick up after a few episodes (like every other kdrama). But it didn't and that actually worked in its favor. The pacing was perfect for this type of story. Unfortunately, I just couldn't connect with the message they were trying to convey. Admittedly, I only started this because of Mr. Gu but even that wore off pretty quick. Towards the end, I began fast-forwarding because they just wouldn't let up with the long and deep dialogues that were trying too hard to be philosophical. Now I have to go find something less moody and more cheerful to reset myself.
Yeong-ha didn't call the policee at first because he wanted to keep the house sacred for his wife as it was her…
Yes, but it's still not a good enough reason to ignore the possible murder of a small boy. I doubt even his wife would have agreed with his decision. Plus, what if the boy was still alive because we don't know exactly what happened to him but it could be possible.
A very solid thriller that's worth watching. However, there was a loophole that irked me to the core. The story went the way it did because the main lead decided not to call the police. For some time, I thought the main lead (Jeon Yeong Ha) was Koo Sang Jun 20 years later. And so, it made sense for him to behave the way he did when faced with a similar situation. KSJ's life turned into a literal nightmare because of the Ji Hyang Cheol fiasco. So if JYH was KSJ, it would be somewhat understandable why he wouldn't want to call the police over something he wasn't even sure of (at least at first). So when it was shown that they were not the same person, I just could not wrap my head around why any sane person (who is also a father mind you) couldn't just call the police. And at least if he knew about the case prior to the incident at his cottage, and he knew about how it panned out for the motel owners, then it would have made some sense because he would have been afraid to experience that as well. But no, he only found out about that when he was already deep into his shenanigans. Everything that happened, could have been avoided. And because, he is the main lead, he did not lose much but imagine if his daughter and/or his friend had been killed. That poor (stupid) cop died all because the main lead did not do the right thing. And in the end he has the nerve to behave like a victim when he was just facing the consequences of his actions!
This had a promising start but it got messy as it went on. The writing was very amateur and some things made no sense at all. I felt like some of the decisions the characters made were just so the plot went a certain direction without any logic at all. I'll probably watch the second season just so I can see how much worse it will get because they will definitely never be able to salvage it. Its an easy viewing if you are not looking for anything serious. 7/10 and thats me being generous.
I wasn't planning on watching this because the synopsis makes no sense at all and it just isn't my type of drama. But the rating has piqued my interest😅 3.7 is just wild🤯
i loved this drama, however.. it being so long + 16 episodes.. I feel like we should have seen a lil more of the…
exactly...they could have had less of the Kim Ji Ho flashbacks and used that time instead to focus on the other characters especially after they made such an effort to make us fall in love with their stories and all. they could have wrapped it up better
I enjoyed this a lot! The only downsides were; - Kim Ji Ho's character should have been given to someone else. Krystal Jung did not do it justice (or maybe there wasn't much depth to the character to start with). Also, did they ever say why she bit her nails so much? -There was no chemistry between the leads. Park Hae Soo and Krystal Jung weren't a good match at all. I found it hard to root for them because it felt so forced. -What they did to Looney was unnecessary and wrong...wasn't that entrapment or something? -Also, there were too many flashbacks. I get why they used them but it was too much and it was even confusing sometimes.
