I actually like this cdrama a lot, but one thing about it that I never really liked no matter how many times I watch it is that it felt like everyone was trying to guilt trip her into being with him.
So, the fl is the daughter of a duke…-did the mom married the spineless man knowing she was already pregnant?-…
He wasn’t really a side piece, In the novel yining’s mother became sad and sort of depressed after the father brought concubine qiao into the family so I think there was a time that she now decided to go to a temple to pray for a while, it was there that she came across yining biological father and they slept together there and that was it. there wasn’t really a relationship between them.
In ep 2 when she was making the abuser experience what he did to his girlfriend, the scene when she’s destroying the doorknob, then drops down and looks through the hole was creepy!
One of the things I’m enjoying so much in this drama is the noticeable change in the way Jiang ci treats Pei yan and the way in which she treats Wei Zhao. It’s like now she’s seeing that Wei zhao is not as bad as she thought and also seeing that Pei yan is not as good as she thought.
Why? because the murdering psychopthic rapist finally died? I felt like it was one of the most deserving deaths…
I’m glad he died. Because there was no other way they could have ended the film and he also deserved death for all that he did to her. But when I say the last episode was sad, I’m mainly referring to the ending scene because I found that scene sad .
I love dramas that moves away from the usual cliche stories and gives us something new, Go East is totally such…
Can we really blame her for abandoning her country at that time ? she was like at most 10 years old. I can’t think of anything that she would have been able to do by then.
-She knew the child was the duke’s.
- Yes she did.
