Very cute but predictable

I really don’t know how I feel about this one. It’s one of those series that left me conflicted about how to rate it. On the one hand, it’s cute and fluffy; on the other, it’s boring and a bit annoying.
Deep breath
Okay. I’m not saying it was bad—it wasn’t! But it was definitely slow at times. The beginning hooked me right in, all sweet and soft, and then… it kind of wandered off. I thought it had fallen asleep. And just when I was about to give up—boom! Something happened, my heart did a little flip, and before I knew it, I was reading the novel because I had to know what happened next. (Patience? Never heard of her.)
There’s nothing too complicated or surprising—just a slow story about a boy with life problems meeting another boy with life problems, and together they slowly untangle their messes. Simple, but kind of lovely in its own way. The main characters weren’t perfect, but that’s what made them feel real. They made mistakes, they learned, and that made me root for them. It felt like a cozy Hallmark movie—cute, funny, sweet, and honestly very pretty to watch.
There were a lot of things I really liked: the characters had depth, their motivations made sense, the change of setting was refreshing, and the natural scenery was gorgeous. But I’ll be honest: if it wasn’t about Jom and Yo as a couple, I just didn’t care much. Screaming girls, two idiots trying to stir up trouble in the village, classmates fighting, family drama, annoying brothers… nope. I just wanted more of the soft moments between the leads.
And oh, Jom and Yo… they were precious. I don’t usually go for slow romances, but these two won me over. I loved that the show took its time to tell the story properly. I appreciated that it showed a lot of happiness throughout, not just in the final episode. I liked how the two of them communicated about their problems, supported each other, and stayed honest. Watching them grow closer and explore their emotions was a joy.
I laughed, I giggled, I even got a little teary. The hopeless romantic in me was living. Their chemistry was amazing—they were sweet, respectful, and mature, which made them so easy to love. Part of me wanted to give them 10 stars just for being that wholesome. I really wanted to give the whole thing 10 stars just for them. But then I remembered all the filler, and I sighed.

So yeah, overall: very cute. Not life-changing, but definitely not bad.
