I have been let down by his recent projects - enjoyed GC, but not because of him..i found him predictable& flat and not sure what’s going on..I couldn’t pass ep1 on this new drama. Makes me sad that he says he worked hard but the ratings don’t show this… has the KDrama started to push quantity over quality I wonder sometimes..cashing in..I miss good projects.

Someone, pleeeease slap Lee Ji Hyeok! Arrogant, ignorant, misogynist, selfish and proud, I’m so sorry he is supposed to be the protagonist!! Why characters like him are taking main stage?!?!

I really want to slap the main male character - The writing is very good!

Given the bad comments, I’d expect to hate it, but I didn’t - the wigs and costumes were notably bad, like really bad(dramas very rarely nail fantasy costumes&wigs to be honest!) It had a lot of promise and obviously they are going for S2. The story was not half bad, the struggle was the number of charecters - understandably - if they manage to balance this aspect for S2, they will have a winner. Let’s see..

Which channel is the drama on?

I can’t believe this drama is with such low rating! It’s so clever and well written! The king is an amazing character- keep trying to maintain higher grown when you are so jealous of the person you love is so much better than you! Absolute jem!

For me - I’ve seen this done before..I actually had to check as I got such strong My liberation notes&my blues feeling! And the director for My Blues and The Trunk is the same!

He is a great actor - I find all his projects interesting and thought provoking. His versatility is so refreshing in a sea of pretty faces! Looking forward to the next episodes!!

Well, there are not many actresses that can pull this one off!! Hats down!! Her portrait of professional woman under the eyes of the nation, who is considered aging, her quiet desperation, the guilt - and then the mentally incomplete second character - rough around the edges but pure and very intense in the parts she remembers from her sister and re-acts…brilliant! So far so good - I hope she keeps it up - probably the best female character this year for me!

This is a strange show..the female character is incredibly annoying in a very old fashion way! Will she grow up?! I like everything else about it..so keep watching..

He did so well, it was clear he is enjoying himself. For me he was the supporting actor as the story for me was about he journey, her desperation, the strength of her love and commitment to the person she loves. He had to live up to her - and he did brilliantly! Absolutely lived that the team Byeon&Kim!

I can’t find info if it will be available on any of the major platform outside SK? Does anyone know?

That was good and don’t see why haven’t a second season tbh; however it is a series of cases so it could be 100 episodes and won’t be that difficult!

What I was trying to say is that the split in many cases might be due to schedule/airing strategy (Glory&G creature) and for some it’s probably testing the waters and leaving the end open - they produce therefore risk smaller amount of money on a project - if it goes well, they draw second s season. There is not much good stuff coming from Hollywood atm for me, they heavily rely on European and Asian stories atm imho.

They - both Disney and Netflix - often now produce 8 or 10 episode and then another 8-10. It does feel like testing the waters rather than Korean/non Korean.

Absolutely LOVE Lee Dong Wook in this one!! How brilliant is he?!

Absolutely gutted! This made me cry and broke my heart this morning!
What a talent and a man to loose due to public humiliation! I’d love to see the Police and the media and these people accusing him being taken to court for causing the death of a person - does anyone really think that - even if true - using marihuana is worth a human life?!?! SK, shame on you!

I will miss him soooo much!! RIP, beautiful soul…
My prayers and thoughts are with his young family…what a way to loose a your dad…
