This is the social reality in South Korea regarding abortion.

“If the celebrity in question were female, it wouldn’t matter whether the abortion was a consensual or rational decision,” said Yunkim Ji-yeong, an associate professor of philosophy at Changwon National University. “Her career would be virtually over. According to Yunkim, the ongoing debate transcends this specific incident and says more about how women and men who have undergone abortion are treated differently in Korean society.

"This dialogue is not about a certain celebrity; it shows the general double standard applied to men and women in Korea regarding abortion," she said. "Korean society’s reaction to abortion is much more lenient on men, reasoning that ‘it’s not illegal now, so he didn’t commit a crime.’ But women, whether it was before or after the abortion ban was ruled unconstitutional, were and still are commonly condemned as ‘murderers’ for terminating pregnancies. Shooting for the second season ends in days. As far as I know, the main actress has a new drama, which she starts shooting almost immediately after the shooting of Yumi's Cells 2 is finished. After watching it, I have the impression that once again I saw something unpleasant about the world. I am not an uncritical fan, I do not have any favorite actors whose words I believe indiscriminately. Probably that's why it was easier for me to watch the whole thing. However, if someone has any favorites in show business, they could probably give this drama a low rating. The characters of the actors in this drama and the people around them seem to be focused only on earning money from advertising. Employment in the highest number of commercials seems to be an indicator of an actor's career in South Korea. Not interesting, complex roles, but the number of commercials shot. Career is number one on the list of priorities in their life. There is no such person as a loved one, because when you sacrifice someone for a career, that person is not loved. Once again I remembered how I dislike social relations in the SK. This Confucian mentality is not for me. Overall, the drama is needed in such a way that maybe people who worship actors will look at them a little more critically. Probably most of what they tell their fans and the media is mere lies to keep the popularity. There are no honest people in this environment, their interviews, what they show the fans is a false image of them. I don't write that they don't work hard, but you can suspect that everything they do is for popularity and money.

I don't understand the need to sympathize with characters in order to like them. For me, the more problematic the character is, the more interesting to watch. If any of the girls from the band had a career through bed or betrayed a friendship, I would like to watch such a plot. I love problematic, selfish characters. More people in the world are selfish, annoying, so such plots are more realistic.

The premiere of season 2 is supposed to be in May 2022. But that's not certain. Currently, the drama team is shooting scenes for the 7th and 8th episode (season 2). But apparently the episodes are not shot in chronological order. Which would fit, because the end of shooting for season 2 is expected in a few weeks. I have never found any info about season 3. About season 3 there was only speculation based on fan guesses. The production team has never said anything about season 3 so far. The drama has been shot since April this year. First season 1 was filmed, then season 2 immediately. The actors playing the main roles early next year have new career plans confirmed, so I don't know when they would be shooting season 3 and it seems weird that they don't shoot it right away if it really is going to be season 3.

As far as I know about spoilers, the story of the book is strong, dark, controversial. There are, among others on sexual violence and pedophilia. It is connected with the murder of the main character's twin brother. The main character is not a very good person, he commits crimes to support his family.

The shooting of the movie begins at the beginning of 2022, so the premiere will probably be in the second half of 2022 or at the end of 2022. Maybe at the Busan festival. I suspect so.

I've seen some Chinese dramas, but I tend to avoid them. It is not just the questionable behavior of the characters, as mentioned in the article. What disturbs me the most is the false political image of these dramas. The majority exists in some imaginary, colorful world that ignores the omnipresent control of the communist authority over the people of this country. As a person from a former communist country, I feel uncomfortable recognizing elements of the typical hidden communist propaganda in Chinese drama.
