Exactly what I've been saying. The double standards of some viewers is just too much. Bashing Jin Taek for the exact same actions committed by So Yeon and ignoring the way she handled the Se Hoon situation. Everyone knows that on the furst night, most people wrote to who they were grateful, nothing special but she kept blowing Se Hoon writing to her out of proportion. She literally told everyone (except Jin Taek) and insinuated that he was interested in her even though he acted otherwise. Even Se Hoon told her she was taking it too seriously and out of context ugh! I like So Yeon, but I can't support or excuse some of her actions.

This makes so much sense! I just turned 28 and I totally agree! Who knows maybe I would have been fangirling like them if I watched this in my teens or early 20s.

Right? I'm so suprised at the Jia worship and #girlpower memes. I said it before the producers were very intentional in casting her to boost the show's popularity.

I’ve also noticed that there's always some type of sheep mentality and toxicity spewed in the twitter discourse of dating shows. After all the unnecessary hate some cast from Heart Signal got which even affected their real lives, I decided to no longer check out dating show hashtags but I broke my promise and went back to check out the Jin Taek- So Yeon spoilers, then saw all this smh. Very important to think for yourself else you join in. It's wild out there.

Ok, hear me out. I see a lot of Jin Taek flack on twitter and I'm not getting it. I love both him and So Yeon and I hope they end up together but praising So Yeon over similar behavior while criticising Jin Taek is crazy. Let me explain:

So Yeon said she voted for who wouldn't vote for her because she wanted to stay in paradise. Jin Taek said he did the same but she was mad because he voted for the 2nd person he is most interested in BUT she did the exact same thing by voting for Se Hoon who she confessed she was even more interested in than Jin Taek. Um girl, that's hypocrisy!

Jin Taek was truthful and mentioned that he is interested in getting to know Ji Yeon. So Yeon on the other hand, told everyone else that she is going for Se Hoon but has not told Jin Taek. He doesn't even know that she frigging confessed to Se Hoon while being mad that he is interested in a 2nd female. Mind you, he has not made a single move towards Ji Yeon and keeps prioritizing So Yeon, taking care of her in front of everyone. Even Ji Yeon said he hasn't talked to her since and now feels like a third wheel. Even when So Yeon isn't there he actively seeks her out and removes himself from where Ji Yeon shows up so he isn't alone with her

Is it wrong for my man to ask for a little reciprocation from the girl who claims to like him? Come on people, let's call a spade a spade and stop this bias.

Anyway, I'm glad So Yeon is now making an effort towards Jin Taek.

I don’t necessarily like Jin Taek and Ji Yeon together however you're right, he showed a different side because she was more receptive to him. I liked him and So Yeon together but she just wasn't as interested and literally told him to his face that she doesn't like dating younger men. It was pretty clear to him and he decided to move on so. She even confirmed it in ep 4 that she isn't into Jin Taek so whoever he ends up with is fine with me.

Yeah, she's in the top 2 prettiest girls there and definitely the hottest!

Yup, I just saw the preview lol. 3 guys bruh! Now thay you mention it, Si Hun doesn't seem like her type. She said she likes sweet and sexy men who give off fatherly vibes. Si Hun is more on the cute, flower boy side.
I don’t blame her though, if she's here for ratings some of this must be scripted, not necessarily what she wants. I doubt we'll have actual couples at the end of this show but let's wait and see.

I think she put up a wall and isn't really giving him a chance. He's been doing like 99% of the work chasing her and she doesn’t seem fully interested. The age reveal made it worse with her going on and on about how she's older and doesn't want to date younger guys. That would definitely discourage him. It almost seems like she doesn't see why he'd be interested in her. IMO, why not?? She's gorgeous!

Yup, my thoughts exactly. Since Hyeon Joong didn't return, he must have guessed that he went with Jia hence he switched to his 2nd choice Ji Yeon. I wish she picked Se Hoon instead of being his 2nd choice smh

I like how direct and persistent he's been towards her. I really like them together but from what we've seen so far, she seems distant and the age does bother her. If I were to date a younger guy, I'd prefer someone who looks older than his age like him. He's frigging hot and got a stable job. Ugh can I have him for myself.

We'll have to see but I won't blame him tbh. He's been trying so hard but she seems to be pushing him away. She's very bothered about their age gap and even before they escaped to Paradise, she hasn’t seemed genuinely interested in him.

I noticed Jia was also in Friends. She went on a blind date with Jae Ho (from Heart Signal 2). Looks like she's been in several other shows. Quite questionable if she's here to find love or was included to boost ratings as she's hella pretty and already has a huge social media following. Kinda reminds me how Franchesca from Too Hot to Handle suddenly appeared in Love is Blind lol

Not sure about season 1 but I think in seasons 2 and 3 they were clueless as they failed to solve the puzzles several times. Especially s3. It made me a bit frustrated but then I realized that they had no help from the show runners which made it more fun.

Also running and ripping off tags was my favourite part of running man. I stopped watching after they stopped☹️
