I may be the odd ball here but I'm more interested in the leads and the drug case than the murder cases. After the first 2 cases, I haven't really cared for the rest. The leads have too little interaction and screen time together.
Why does he always wear that suit with the red tag on the pocket when meeting her? First at the gallery, the dinner in ep 12 and also ep 15 from the trailers. Their interactions are so weird!
Someone please explain what the Tea Bone is? 😭 It drives me nuts not knowing if I understand what they mean. If it is the innate ability to recognize and understand all aspects of tea, hasn't she proven herself? (regarding the issue brought up in ep 9)
Love the leads but I'm not really liking the damsel in distress direction. She's a badass fighter so I hope he…
Let me clarify because it seems people misunderstood what I meant. “Damsel in distress” may not have been the perfect term to use. What I’m actually saying is I don’t want the drama to fall into that pattern where the ML always appears right in the nick of time to save the FL. E.g. when she was fighting the fiend, Locust, he suddenly showed up at a precarious moment and saved her. Or in episode 9, when she was about to be stabbed and again he arrived at the last second to rescue her.
I never said there was anything wrong with him taking her to the hospital or giving her food or that she shouldn’t receive help from others, and I never claimed that receiving help diminishes what she’s accomplished. So please don’t put words in my mouth.
My point is simply that I don’t like the trope where a FL is in a dangerous situation and the male lead constantly and miraculously shows up to save her. It’s overdone, and although its just happened 2x as of now, I just don’t want this drama to repeat the same pattern. That’s all.

Completely understand how the desert scene could be confusing. In the husband's scene we can tell she regretted not asking him to tell her right that moment. So she imagined him telling her in person, what he wrote in the letter, had she pushed him to spill the beans at the time. Notice no additional words spoken, he just read her letter.
In the desert scene however, burying the necklace was a specific detail she couldn't have imagined because she didn't see him pick it up after she threw it away. She has no idea he has that necklace so makes no sense for her to imagine that action. If she were just imagining things, I believe the bugged necklace which he once gifted her and she returned to him, would make more sense.

If you're wondering if he died, no, he didn’t. The gates of the control room was open and it was empty. His body was never found. We got a scene of him in the Gobi desert where he wanted to run away to with her. His act of burying her necklace in the sand could very well symbolize him fulfilling his promise of taking her there or his decision to give up on her.
In the end Munjoo returned to run for president in the 22nd election. In the beginning she was running in the 21st election. She refused to re-enter the race in the 21st election because she was too heartbroken. Her running again means she's either had time to heal or found him again. Either way, I'm happy she did not give up her dream for a man. If he, as a North Korean is openly by her side, she can never fulfill her dream of being president. So likely he's staying away from her or is with her in secret. The writer is trying to be realistic.
So, I don’t consider it a bad ending at all. While not great, it was a good ending. We saw the fulfillment of their love throughout the show and their chemistry was fire so I don’t feel cheated one bit.
Just finished it and absolutely loved every minute of it. This is coming from someone who's been dropping dramas left, right. Don't be discouraged by the comments y'all. Watch for yourself and decide. My thoughts on the final ep spoiled below:
2nd bro has been on many of us radar as R but Li nan could be as well. li nan could go be inside 2nd bro character.…
I just finished ep 29 and saw the Li Nian reveal. Could've been more impactful if they fleshed him out earlier. I don’t recall if they ever showed him in ep 1. Still I think 2nd bro is involved as his accomplice and spy in the Xiao household.
